Chapter 6: The Feeling Cops or Only With Short Hair

This time, they landed. They landed in a barn with a huge creature in it. This creature was mad. They got out of the barn as fast as they could, closing the door behind them. They were approached by an angry-looking young woman. She strode up to them, yelling,

"Who do you think-!" she stopped when she saw DragonGirl, "It’s you!" the woman yelled, hugging her. DragonGirl looked puzzled but then realized.

"Coltia!" she yelled, hugging back.

"It’s been so long! You haven’t seemed to change at all." DragonGirl nodded.

"Yes, I haven’t seen you since, oh 1027!" Colt nodded.

"Thirteen years. Wow, I can’t believe it." She said quietly, "Will you stay for a while?" DragonGirl paused.

"I can’t, we are looking for a group of people and monsters. A kid, a girl, no wait, Miss Holly, her suezo, a golem, and a mocchi?" She looked at DragonGirl with frightened eyes.

"I have heard. I don’t know where they are, but they are now with a pixie, a tiger, and a hare. I wouldn’t go if I were you." DragonGirl shook her head.

"We, um, have to." Colt shuddered.

"Well, if something happens don’t tell them where we are. There have been Jell troops around lately. I don’t want them to find my monster." DragonGirl nodded. She waved goodbye to Colt, who was tending to a pixie/monol.

"What the hell was that all about?" SilverWolf asked loudly.

"I guess that since we were just at a video game, they melded the video game with the anime. We really need some decent transportation." DragonGirl said. Nikkia nodded.

"That was weird." She confided. DragonGirl rubbed her palms together.

"Let’s try again." They left the ranch and fell into a forest.

"Ow!" SilverWolf yelled, "I bruised my butt!" She opened her eyes. A huge, beautiful face leaned over her.

"Are you okay?" an evil voice asked. SilverWolf nodded. The face receded to reveal Pixie.

"Oh, good, we’re here." Nikkia said.

"Yes." DragonGirl responded. They gazed on the group before them. There was Golem, Holly, Genki, Mocchi (irritating thing), Pixie, and foremost to DragonGirl, Tiger.

"Who are you?!" he growled. Genki leapt forward.

"Be nice Tiger!" he shouted, "My name’s Genki!" he shouted for the five-hundredth time.

"We know." DragonGirl remarked mildly.

"Yeah, you say that every episode! You’d think everyone would know your name by now!" Nikkia yelled. Genki’s eyes grew wide.

"You-You’re from the real world!!!" he yelled.

"Yeah…" DragonGirl said. He hugged the nearest person to him, Nikkia.

"Finally someone real!!" Nikkia stiffened, pushing the boy away from her.

"Look, let’s get a move on!" Holly called.

"Mocchi hungry." Mocchi whined.

"Mocchi whiny." SilverWolf mocked. DragonGirl made a growling sound.

"Look, we need some help, can we follow you guys for a while?" DragonGirl asked.

"Sure!" Genki shouted. Holly shrugged.

"Are you fighting Moo?" she asked.

"We’re um, not from around here." DragonGirl said.

"Oh. Ok." Holly said, obviously confused.

"So, you’re a trainer. Me, too. We might have met." Holly twitched, as if the mish-mash world was glitching.

"Oh, yes, you were the one with the pixie/suezo who lost to us in the Ima FIMBA match." DragonGirl nodded. They went on to discuss the finer points of monster training. Nikkia, watching, giggled.

"Nerd." She whispered into DragonGirl’s ear. Just then, Genki walked up to her.

"Um, these are for you." He said, holding up a few cherry blossoms. Nikkia, not wanting to hurt his feelings, accepted. She seemed to attract younger men. DragonGirl went to check up on SilverWolf who was leading the group along with Pixie. She reached them and shook her head, for SilverWolf was staring after the flapping Pixie and drooling.

"If only I could be in front…" she mumbled. DragonGirl rolled her eyes.

"You only like them with short hair, don’t you?" She asked. SilverWolf tore her eyes away long enough to give her an evil look, then resumed.

Meanwhile, Nikkia was walking with Genki, sadly.

"Hi." Genki said adoringly.

"Hi." Nikkia replied flatly.

"It’s nice today." He went on.

"Uh huh." Nikkia replied. Genki walked alongside of her, looking at her adoringly. She sighed, exasperated.

Why me? She asked herself. Why her indeed.

Meanwhile nothing really important was happening, so like always, Hare bothered Tiger.

"Oh, look at the great Tiger." He mocked. Tiger snapped angrily at him, but he was too fast. DragonGirl appeared at Hare’s only exit with a long limb.

"Should I?" she asked Tiger. He nodded, grimly happy. She brought the limb down.

Later, by a fire.

"Any more legs left?" DragonGirl asked.

"Nope, all gone." Tiger grunted, full. Suddenly, Holly burst out of the bushes.

"Hi guys, hey, where’s Hare?" she asked. DragonGirl stared blankly at her.

"Sorry, gotta go!" she yelled, leaping out and grabbing Nikkia and SilverWolf.

"Come on, I was dangerously close to copping a feel!" SilverWolf yelled.

"Yeah, well so was Genki!" Nikkia retorted, feeling sick. DragonGirl grunted away a giggle.

"Well I had a fine meal, and I have a great transportation idea." She whispered to the others, whose smiles slowly spread.

"Good luck, ne?" she said.

"Shall we go?" SilverWolf asked Nikkia.

"Lets." She replied. Smiling, they leapt back to somewhere they’ve already been.
