Amelia
(Milly)
This
could get rather tricky. Amelia and I share a special bond. One
that she doesn’t discuss, but the fact is it happened.
We’ve been through a lot together. It’s great to know
that we are still great friends and can tell each other anything.
Adrian (Ades)
and Lea (Lea
B)
I didn't know how
to do this, so I'm going to keep it simple. Adrian and Lea are
great friends. I first met Lea whilst doing The Music Man, then
met her (ex)partner Adrian at a 'getting to know you' BBQ. It
turned out that they both taught at Ballam Park Tech; Ade
starting the year after I left, and Lea the year after that. What
can I say, we hit it off straight away. I feel I must mention
that Ade organised the decorations for my 21st, and did a great
job.
Brent
(BKC -
Dude)
Would
have to be my closest friend of all. My confidant. The things he
knows that I haven’t told anyone else. He is currently
attending university in Tasmania (year 5 of 5). We have great
scotch nights. We spend about an hour on the phone to each other
catching up about nothing. Howdy pardner, birdy num-nums.
Darren
What can
I say. He’s just like really out there. He’s my
brother. We’re sure we were separated at birth. And one day
he will have his own homepage up - and an ISP again!
Darrin (Groper -
but not for obvious reasons)
My
oldest school friend. We went to Japan together. We don’t
see as much of each other as we should, but I’m trying to
make a concerted effort to change that, especially as we move in
the same circles.
Janine (Stace)
This
girl is a rock. She will never let you get sick. Never let you
wallow in self-pity. Always has a great laugh. A real reality
check. Everybody should have a Stace. Sometimes I wonder who is
there for her? But we all are! Oh and Stace, who's Jarrod?
John, Michelle,
Jesse and Carlton
John is
my close personal friend (sorry, another in joke), always
welcoming you into his house with open arms and a cask of wine
(you could love a guy like that). Michelle… I can’t say
how I feel about this woman. We sometimes wonder, if John died
(touch wood), would we get married? It’s like that. Jesse
and Carlton, these are my two kids. Michelle and I often joke
about the paternity. I couldn’t love them any less even if I
was just Uncle Daggs.
Mike, Sue
and Lachlan too
This
could get repetitive. Again two of my closest friends. Sue and I
actually officially met on Sunday February 14, 1988. We were both
celebrating anti-Valentine’s day. Sue has the arduous task
of teaching us all our songs and putting the accompiament on tape
(from me especially). Love you Sue. And little Lochie too. He has
to be adopted - he’s too cute for these two. And now it's
time to get ready for the new patter of little feet. Haven't you
guys heard of contraception? Welcome into the world Madison.
Michael and Jenny
Michael is one of
my best friends from school days. Some time ago he went to
Queensland and met Jenny. They eventually married, and live in
Queensland, so I don't get to see him hardly at all, but we still
communicate every now and then.
Rogner (Roggie)
My one
and only. My boy in Brazil. While he was in Australia last year,
we never saw each other, then once he returned home, we speak
constantly. Yes, we both fell heavily in like over the net.

Ross
(horsey) and Kathy
Ross is
one of my very best friends and it would seem my twin. We think
alike, we dress alike, eat alike. Also, we're the dynamic duo on
stage. And what I wouldn’t do to have his lovely wife
who is also a dear friend. We can chat forever. Actually, they
both broke my virginity by taking me to Chadstone Shopping Town
(and then drove me to my car because I couldn’t find my way
out). They finally legalised it March 29, 1988; no more living in
sin.
Sally
(sal)
It has
been very remiss of me not to include one of my dearest friends
earlier, but hey, she up and left and went overseas and keeps
coming and going and losing contact and can you blame me
really??? Only joshing ya Sal Honey Darling Sweety Sweety. Sally
is really easy to take the mickey out of and is a travelled
actress and film producer/starlet who has various sites of
accomplishments et al. Her main one has been listed here until I
get an update of the other 68 (hint hint). Did any of that make
sense? It is New Years Day after all.
Scott (chap) and
Vanessa (chapette)
Scott
is a marvel. A true friend who is always there for them. A great
computer wiz and my 'online support'. He loves the occasional(?)
game of Daytona and the odd (jug of) beer. And Vanessa is, well
... is my dance partner. We've danced together for a long time,
and not bragging, we're good together. This girl loves to
shop and does it well.
Congratulations
guys on buying your first house. Now Vanessa, if you would just
pop the question, you won't have to live in sin anymore either.
Simon (slime)
Nothing
to say here really. He linked me and I'm linking him. Oh yeah,
one of my theatre friends who I happen to work in the same
building as (I was there first!). Happy now?
No
really, a totally committed friend, check out his page and visit
his darker world (of poems, dedications, and awareness). But
he's not gay, really!?
Steven (unzy)
Well,
I used to work with Steve, but he left to go onto bigger and
better things? Well, at least something he'll enjoy. Steve is the
only other person I've worked with that does theatre as well (and
lots of it). And if you like the game of Magic, go visit his
page, he's an avid player. Oh yeah, also includes links to Star
Trek and Guinness (yes, the beer - bloody pom!)

Claire
(bear), Leanne and Patti (patz)
My
best friends from work. They each blame each other for getting
totally trashed every Friday night, oh hell, any night really. I
think Leanne's to blame on that one. It's those lunches where you
don't get home until 4:30 the next morning. She's also the one
that says you can't eat when you're drinking, because it soaks up
the alcohol. Go Girls!
You've
heard the song, "All my friends are getting married"?
Well now change it to "All my friends are leaving ANZ".
Leanne already has, Patz has too and Bear just did. What is it,
my deodorant??? Why can't I get a package????
