What can I say about this program. It allows you to see if your friends are online, so you can jump in and online chat, or send online messages/files to them (file transfer is faster than downloading). There is even the capability to play games.

Move providers, keep your http:// address

With a V3-URL, you get a free short address for your site. You choose where it points to. You advertise their services by a pop- up window, it's that easy! So now you can move ISP's every year, from your ISP to a web host, from that web host to another, and not have to worry about notifying all your friends and links of the change. You might even already be here?

Move ISPs, keep your email address

There a couple of options here. Get a free anonymous email, or get a web page with email. I use and recommends the following:

HoTMaiL and Mail.com

Browser based email clients. Read your email from anywhere in the world. You need to be online to read and compose your messages. Cannot use/import your own email client address book. Hotmail only gives 2mb space, but has many other services available. Mail.com give you 10mb, but is a very basic service.

Yahoo!

You get 6mb space for email, which you can configure as a pop mail account (just like your ISP). This means that you can send/receive your email from your hard drive (using an email client eg. Outlook Express) , so view/compose offline. And apart from easy email, there is a whole portal of things you can do with your account online.. address book, calendar, games.. to name a few.

These two counters provide you powerful counter statistics. Both offer full Visitor Statistics, and no hits counter on your page. Pagecount was the leader (now owned by Xoom now owned by ), but who needs their ads on your GeoCities site?
