Pat Shelley, 47, of
Connersville died unexpectedly Thursday, January 24, 2002 at her residence.
She
was born February 2, 1954, a daughter of William Shelley and Dorothy Conwell
Wolfe. She was a 1972 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School and a
1976 graduate of Ball State University, where she earned her master's degree.
She was a teacher at Alquina Elementary School in Connersville since 1976.
Survivors include her father and mother; a brother, Mike Shelley of New Castle;
two sisters, Cynthia (Gary) Armstrong of Pennsylvania and Diana Smith of
Shelbyville; and several nieces and nephews, including Amy Shelley of New
Castle, Jason Shelley of Muncie and Eric Shelley of New York. She was preceded in death by a brother, Gary.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Marcum-Troxell Community Funeral
Home in New Castle with the Rev. Stephen Galloway officiating. Burial will
follow in Green Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call today from 4 to 8
p.m. at the funeral home.
