Paris, France
May, 2001

I went to Paris in May 2001. My friend Raj and I went there via KLM from Chicago, after a drive from Cedar Rapids to Chicago we were off for a long weekend in Paris. Paris is a nice city, but the thing that impressed me most was the history. The Luv was my favorite place, unfortunately I've lost a roll of film somewhere along the way so I have a limited amount of pictures, here they are.

Flower Garden in front of the Arc de Triomphe. Some of the writing inside the Arc de Triomphe. The Notre Dame Cathedral. Stained glass inside the Cathedral.
More stained glass. Statue of Joan of Arc in Notre Dame. Statue behind the main alter at the Cathedral. A couple of paintings from the Picasso Museum. A difficult place to find, but you get to discover that Picasso was quite the quack.
Me with my favorite statue, looks like the robot from Short Circuit. Raj with what I think was the sculpture of a head, not sure though. A statue of a goat in the courtyard, these things were everywhere. I think Picasso had something for goats.
