Links for Mothers |
|||||||||||||
The most important link is to Dr. Laura! If you need to be reassured that you are doing the right thing for your family, go visit her site. Better yet- listen to her program or read one of her books. |

One of the few things that has kept me sane since having my daughter, was being able to talk with other mothers. One of the best ways was meeting with them and discussing our kids and all that comes with them: stress, husbands, feminity, etc. I started going to Mothers of Pre-Schoolers (MOPS) at a local church. There might be one in your area! We meet twice a month. The kids go to the nursery and the mom's go to a meeting room. We eat breakfast, have a little fellowship, listen to a speaker, have a discussion with our group, and then do a craft. |

Another good resource is to chat with other mothers online, via chat rooms or message boards. You might even find other mother's in your area! |
