Rose was born in Korets, Ukraine, sometime in 1902.
Nobody ever knew the exact date on our calender system.
She came to the United States at age 2 and grew up in
Lynn, Massachusetts. She met Henry while working as a
nurse at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. They moved
to Phoenix about 1930, then to Jacksonville, FL in 1936,
where they stayed until retiring to Miami Beach in the
1970's. Her most memorable specialty as a grandmother was
French toast made with raisin bread.
