Who doesn't like the looney tunes, the funny
cartoons from WB studios? They are funny, charming, and never die, no matter
how much you'll hurt their body...
Here is some information about my favorite
(and yours, hopefully) looney tunes;
Daffy Duck is the oldest looney. He was created on 1937 by Tex Avery, and
his debut was in a movie called "Porkey's duck hunt". In this movie Daffy
was nothing but a hunt
target.
Popular quote: "you're despicable!"
Taz,
the Tasmanian Devil, is the youngest looney character. He was created by
Bob McKimson on 1954. His premiere appearance was in "Devil May Hare".
Taz, the popular devil, doesn't speak any known language. He gargles instead.
His voice was adlibbed by Mel Blanc.
Popular quote: "glottal-guttural"
Tweety bird, Grany's pet who lives his life in a cage, was created on 1942,
but his premiere appearance was on 1947 in warner brother's movie "Tweetie
pie". Cute little tweety is always persecuted by Sylvester the cat, who
thinks that tweety will be much in his dinner. But tweety is much smarter
than him, and he always outsmarts him.
Popular quote: "I thought I saw a putty
cat!"
Sylvester, the cat was created by Freleng on 1945. Though he's two years
younger than Tweety, he had had three solo appearances before he acted
the evil chaser cat in "Tweetie pie" in 1947. His premiere appearance was
the movie "Life with Feathers", in 1945. Sylvester was designed to look
subtly like a clown, with a red nose and a very low crotch, as if he wore
a baggy pants.
Although he's suppose to be evil, Sylvester
is often very frightened, for no good reasons.
