Baccus- (Roman Name) the god of wine. (greek version: Dionysus) Son of Zeus and Semele. Married Ariadne, and had many children.
Battus- A shepard of Pylos who was turned to stone when he broke his promise not to tell that he had seen Hermes steal Apollo's cattle.
Bear, Great- The Big Dipper- Ursa Major.
Bear, Little- The Little Dipper- Ursa Minor.
Bellerophon- He was the son of Eurymede and Glaucus, and grand child of Sisyphus. He was one of the seven great destroyers of monsters, conquered the Solymi and Amazons and slayed the Chimera. His death came when he tried to fly to heaven on Pegasus, a winged horse, and fell.
Bellona- (Roman) Goddess of war. It is said she was related to Mars (Ares-Greek), being either his wife or sister.
Bia- She was ordered by Hephaestus to bind Prometheus to a rock as a form of punishment because he stole fire to give to humans. She was the daughter of Pallas and Styx.
