Vernes's History

Vernes, healer and discusted by violance. At a very young age, his parents were burned to death by bounty-hunters who took them for murderers. When the small boy went after them in a rage of anger with his fathers sword, he almost killed one of them. After he was stopped by one of the other man, he found out about the horrible error the man had made. He finally accepted the horrible truth, that his parents were killed by accident. And what even more horrible was the fact he'd almost killed a man who did not deserved to die. These events left a deep, deep scar on this boy's soul. Where he could not help his father when he found him badly burned, he has pledged his life to learn all there is in healilng people. Never would he kill, for his father died without cause, by a mistake...

Lotharel's History

Lotharel is fairly young still, in his late teens and still fairly childish. His mother dragged him away from the battle at Giloven, while his father died in the battle. Lotharel was furious at this, and still at this day would kill someone from the south on sight. In recent years he has been absent from Anhorf for long periouds of time, and is seen seldomly. Some say he is mad, others say he is just trying to keep down the anger inside himself. It is still rumoured that he holds some power when the army is gathered, and is a great warrior. His name still falls under the King’s bodyguards, though he has not been seen near the palace for over a year. Whatever people say, no one knows where he is or what he does, not even the Table of Esragoth, or if they do, they clearly don’t want people to know.

Aragon's History

Aragon Elvaraldor was the first, and only, child of King Garet and Queen Elrith. At the battle of Giloven he was fataley wounded, and lay dieing among most of the rest of Enden, when one of the priests healing and fighting spied his slender body of fourteen years, and carried him to the safety of the King's bodyguard, who was one of the small units still fighting. As his wound was healed by priests and his mother, the King was taking counsul from his captains and the head-priest of Aralea, finally the King made a decision as what could possibly be Endens last stand approached with fury, he ordered his familly and anyone else who wished to leave to take the horses and flee. But few agreed to flee, and Aragon was too weak to protest his almost lifeless body being carried away by priests. Even the stunning Queen Elrith refused to leave her husband as the enemy closed in on the place of the final stand, the great tree Esragoth. Before the small caravan of around 100 people could leave, Aragon fell un-consciousness, and it is told that the priests had a great strugle to stop his wounds from becoming mortally fatal in the journey from Giloven. When Aragon was finally allowed to walk again, around a week later, he returned to the site of Giloven, supported by two priests as he could only walk with their help. There he found his fathers corpse, and his mothers lieing beside it. There he stayed for hours, thinking and weeping, while the priests walked around, trying to find survivors. Of the few survivors one was Caliban, who later became Head-Priest of Aralea and a close friend of Aragon.

Tathar's History

Originally from one of the 5 tribes, Tathar, journeyed to the capital of Anorf with his father when he was young. His Father was a poor tanner selling his wares in the more afluent Enden capital than his home village. Exposed to this mercantile side of life Tathar became srewd at dealings and wish to rise from his poor village settings. When he came of age he set of with what he could carry on his back and emigrated to Anorf to make his fortune. From his rural backgriund he also has a great deal of expierience in tracking and archery as do all those who reside in Enden.

Caliban's History

Caliban was once a strong huntsman and fought in the royal guard of the King of Enden. When Rahzkan attacked Caliban went with the doomed defense force. The battle was long and bloody, Caliban took many foes down yet more still came, atlas he was struck and fell. As he felt his lifeblood ebbing away a Priest of Gilreon tried to save him, after applying bandages the priest moved on. Caliban saw him try and save many lives, before the Priest was struck down from behind while he worked on the wounded King himself. Caliban slowly slipped out of consciousness. When he awoke he was one of the few survivors of the battle. None doubted that the Priest had saved his life. However all the Priests of Gilreon (and most of the other church's priests) had been healing the wounded at the Battle and none had survived. Upon hearing this news Caliban and a few other who's lives had been saved entered the order of Gilreon. They spent many months before the head Priest of Aralea ordained them. Caliban was chosen to be the Head Priest of Gilreon due to his fervor and dedication. Later when the head Priest of Aralea lay on his deathbed it was reveiled to Caliban that it would be he that would succeed him on the Table of Esragoth.
