What is Pollution ?
Pollution means such contamination of water, air or other substances or such alternation of physical, chemical or biological properties of water, air or other substances or such discharge of any sewage or trade effluent or other means or any other liquid, gaseous or solid substances which is likely to create a nuisance or render it harmful or injurious to public health or safety or to domestic, commercial, industrial, agricultural or other legitimate uses or to life and health of animals or plants or of aquatic organisms.
Kinds of Pollution :-

The sources of natural pollution are earth quakes, flood, draught & cyclone. The sources of artificial pollution are human activities, industrial & otherwise. Artificial pollution is in the form of water pollution, air pollution, noise pollution, land pollution, food pollution & radio active pollution.
