My Expectations

I have high expectations for myself, my students, parents and administration. I feel that all of these entities need to be working together to provide the least restrictive learning environment for all students. Expectations for Myself - If I am not meeting one of these expectations, please feel free to constructively encourage me to do so. I can still make mistakes and am willing to learn and change for the better learning of my students. I will treat each student with respect I will maintain a positive attitude I will be firm and consistent with school policies I will provide a clear structure to help my students become comfortable in their learning environment I will challenge all my students I will help all students who are willing to help themselves I will not only teach math, but how to be positive and productive members of society Expectations for Students All students can learn Students should take responsibility for their actions including their education Students should perform to the best of their ability Students should study outside of the classroom Students should be respectful to their peers and teachers Expectations for Parents Parents should encourage students to do well in academics Parents should contact me if they have any questions, comments or concerns Parents should support school discipline Parents should love their child Parents should have high expectations for their students Expectations for Administration Administration should consistently enforce school policies Administration should be open and honest with staff Administration should be a model for staff and students Administration should have high expectations for all staff members Administration should have high expectations for student performance and behavior
