I have high expectations for myself, my students, parents and administration. I feel that all of these entities need to be working together to provide the least restrictive learning environment for all students.
Expectations for Myself - If I am not meeting one of these expectations, please feel free to constructively encourage me to do so. I can still make mistakes and am willing to learn and change for the better learning of my students.
- I will treat each student with respect
- I will maintain a positive attitude
- I will be firm and consistent with school policies
- I will provide a clear structure to help my students become comfortable in their learning environment
- I will challenge all my students
- I will help all students who are willing to help themselves
- I will not only teach math, but how to be positive and productive members of society
Expectations for Students
- All students can learn
- Students should take responsibility for their actions including their education
- Students should perform to the best of their ability
- Students should study outside of the classroom
- Students should be respectful to their peers and teachers
Expectations for Parents
- Parents should encourage students to do well in academics
- Parents should contact me if they have any questions, comments or concerns
- Parents should support school discipline
- Parents should love their child
- Parents should have high expectations for their students
Expectations for Administration
- Administration should consistently enforce school policies
- Administration should be open and honest with staff
- Administration should be a model for staff and students
- Administration should have high expectations for all staff members
- Administration should have high expectations for student performance and behavior
