Kaho Mizuki mysteriously appears one day as Sakura's math teacher. Considering Math was Sakura's least favourite subject, it helped a lot that she got a teacher she liked. Mizuki is pretty and good at pretty much everything, and all the students at Tomoeda like her.
But Kaho isn't what she seems! She knows all about Sakura's little Card Captor alias, and about the Clow Cards, and she's not afraid of them. The reason for this is that she happens to have been sent to Japan by none other than Clow Reed himself. She's a student of his. Kaho Mizuki used to date Touya, but left suddenly. We think that, as a student of magic, she was attracted by his power but left when she realised that Clow Reed wanted her back in England. Of interest, she was not afraid to be the first to speak to Cerberus, and Cerberus was not afraid to talk to her.
 Mizuki only stays during the second series to guide Sakura through her 'final trial' against Yue. She tells Sakura a little about herself, but then leaves, off to England to study some more. Sakura writes her letters often, and at last they are re-united during the third season.
What do we think of Kaho Mizuki?
 Richard: I can see Viscay's point and I can see Riki's. I tend to like her a bit, though, since she's likeable. I don't know why. I'm not analytical enough today.
Viscay: I really like her! She's just a sweet person and a good teacher. I like teachers in general, though (ha ha)
Riki: I really like Mizuki's voice actor (Shinohara Emi) but there are too many things about Kaho that tick me off to like her. She's too high and mighty on Sakura while Sakura's struggling with the Clow Cards, which I find to be two-faced considering how nice she acted towards her before. Then there's the thing about Touya. That's just mean, to disappear like that and when you see him again, act as if nothing has happened. I treat guys like dirt but there's a line I don't cross. In addition to that, I could pick on a lot. So no, I'm not fond of her.
