 A bit on Ruby Moon:
Nakuru's real form is that of Ruby Moon, the guardian of Ariel Hiragizawa, who appears in the same manga as she. She has a Guardian beast, too, Spinel Sun. Unlike Spinel Sun, Ruby loves trouble and hates the peace and quiet. She likes loud things (as she's pretty loud herself) and fighting, and though we see very little of Ruby Moon in the animation, her persona is just a little more mature and malicious than the alter-ego of Nakuru Akizuki. Her attribute is the moon and her side of the male vs female argument is the yang.
Important: Neither Ruby Moon, nor Nakuru Akizuki, is female. They aren't male, either. If you'll notice, the teenage-form Nakuru has no figure at all. Neither of the guardians are supposed to have any real sex, though we attribute them to male and female because of their appearance. Their actual yin-yang is contradictory to their appearance. Ruby's magic comes from the school of western thought, while Yue's comes from the east.
What do we think of Ruby Moon?
Richard: Ruby is very beautiful, and I like her much more than Nakuru. Perhaps because she floats more and chokes less. Isn't it funny? Liking the same person I hat in another outfit.
Viscay: I like Ruby Moon since she kind of reminds me of the traditional Clamp witch, which I find comforting since Sakura is such a big change from the usual CLAMP tragedies. But I don't have much to say about her.
Riki: I like how Ruby Moon is so devoted to Eriol, but I think her being rather hurts Yue. Clow seemingly discarded Yue and picked up two new creations, which makes me rather sad. I know Clow meant the best but sometimes I just want to strangle Ruby for making things so difficult for Yue.
