 A bit on the name: We can't figure it out!! What's the significance of Suppi's name? Does anyone know? A load of Suppi images and shots to he who can give us a clue!!
Spinel Sun is Eriol Hiragizawa's Guardian Beast, along with Ruby Moon. He was nicknamed Suppi by Nakuru but he hasn't quite gotten used to it yet. Like a cat, he prefers a quiet, mellow, relaxed surrounding and curling up with a book. He is quiet and inquisitive, very mellow and speaks always in a soothingly cool voice.
Suppi lives with Nakuru and Eriol in Tomoeda City, and is quite the opposite of Kero. He respects Eriol very much and rather disapproves of Nakuru's bouncyness. Of interest, Suppi doesn't eat at all, and sugar actually makes him drunk. (Drunk is one way to put it; opposite of what he usually is. See the picture to the side to see what he's NOT like.)
 What do we think of Suppi?
 Richard: Suppi is relaxed and mellow. I can almost see he and Badtz-maru hanging out on a hot day.
Viscay: No opinion. Throughout the series I don't think we see enough of him to really form a good opining. Where's he from? When was he created? Does he even know what's going on? I don’t really have an opinion on him.
Riki: Suppi is the epitome of cynical perfection. I quite like him and think he fits with Eriol very well. I DO wish we knew more about him; maybe there's something we missed, but Suppi is a great character to play off of on web pages and such. If you are doing a Suppi web page, we have LOADS of great pictures that might help you out. IF…. You tell us what you know about Suppi's name! ^_^;
