A bit on the name: Yukito means snow rabbit! (how quaint!) his last name, Tsukishiro, means mooncastle.
Eat Eat Eat! That can definitely describe Yukito the sweet. It's so funny! Yukito is Touya's best friend and perhaps crush (?). In fact, everyone has a crush on him one way or another. He's just a likeable guy. I'm not gonna tell you what happens if you haven't seen it, but Sakura eventually does confess her love to Yukito, and Yukito confesses to Sakura who his true love is.
Yukito is terribly adorable and sweet, unreal and has an obsession with food. Hmm. He especially loves Sakura's pancakes, or at least he says so. Both Sakura and Li Shaolin have crushes on him in the beginning of the story, and he has a knack for giving them candy all the time. Like Touya, Yukito has various jobs around the town, often by Touya's side. Yukito is also too coincidentially around wherever Sakura happens to be that episode (either an annoying gimmick of anime again or an unexplained sub-plot). There's a bit more than sits on the top, though, because Yukito has an alternate identity he doesn't know about.
What do we think of Yukito Tsukishiro?
Richard: I like Yukito as a character, but instead of drooling over him like my other two co-workers will do, I'll tell you what I don't like. It irritates me that he's always around. Also, and more importantly, he's two-faced. That is, he plays the naïve, innocent blissful character like Sakura, but every once in a while, knows just a little more than anyone else. And yet he claims not to know about Yue? How can he know so much and so little at the same time?
Viscay: You know, at first I didn’t like Yukito. He was a great character and all, but annoying because he never did anything and was ALWAYS around. But, like Clamp, things are never what they seem, and he eventually turned out to be one of my favourite characters.
Riki: I knew about the Touya - Yukito thing before I got really into Sakura, and so I liked Yukito from the beginning. Like the most of the characters, he's sincere and ideal. His fault is that he's a little too ideal; that kind of ignorant kindness isn't realistic. I also love Yukito because of his voice-actor (Ogata Megumi!! Hanyaan!!!) who is so very talented and my IDOL.
