According to E! Online's Chat with Wanda, Carla (played by Lisa Nicole
Carson) will be in a car wreck and killed in the first few episodes of
Season eight. Dr. Benton and Carla's husband will be in a custody
battle over Reece (Benton and Carla's son).
Also, Sherry Stringfield's will be starting back during the fourth
episode. And there will be, as many suspected, a love triangle
between Mark, Susan, and Elizabeth. Elizabeth gets really jealous
when Mark takes Susan to lunch. Also in that episode someone gets
fired! << not sure who >>
