Wind       Water     Schools of Feng Shui There are two major, and easily understood, school of thoughts or theory to practicing Feng Shui, namely, Eight Houses Theory and Flying Star Theory. I wish to emphasise that it is far better to comprehend simple theories and put into actions easier concepts than muddle through the more complex theories like Nine Star Chart Theory. However, if you are rather familiar with this topic already, I have included this section for the more advanced readers. Over the centuries, many variations of Feng Shui emerged. Largely, it is due to the different interpretations of its origins (that's why you had to visit the Origins module). To some extent, "Black" Feng Shui was also established as a weapon to be used unscrupulously. In this website, this will not be discussed. Sufficient for you to understand the basics of the three schools of thoughts mentioned above.
