OK, today was the DAY!! I TRIED to get some sleep last night, but it just didn't happen...Even though I have seen Josh perform before, the anticipation was still as exciting as the first time...Plus I would be meeting HUNDREDS of friends - all in the space of a couple hours!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHKkkkkkkkkk....Finally got packed, put the luggage and 200 llamas into the car (haha), said goodbye to TaBoo - wondering how he would be with me away for a few days....and we hit the road....

Funny thing was, it didn't seem to take very long to get there...must have been the Grobandust whoooooshing me along...checked into the hotel around 2:30..Saw Nancy and her roomies...Kay and Paul were a few rooms down, so were Donna and Sharon...WOooohoooo....

3:00 arrived and it was time to "transport" the 200 llamas to the tent...it was a bit difficult finding the tent area...not marked in any way behind a locked gate...parked, and headed to the tent...OMG - it was BEAUTIFUL - and HUUUUUUGE !!! There were already about two dozen fans helping out, even though only about 10 signed up...GREAT JOB GUYS!!!

Shirts were being wrapped, goodiebags were being assembled, and Josh balloons were being inflated....OH - funny thing....Someone blew one up a bit too much and BANG!! Josh exploded!!! EEEEEEEEEEP...poor Josh!!

There were so many items for sale and raffles and auctions...WOW...bumperstickers, tshirts, pins, Ellen Prints, LipJosh, soap, THUD pills, Joshpops, LLAMAS, pillows, drawings, paintings, photos, so much to remember!!!

Then I left, went back to the hotel to get ready for the big night ahead!!!

Comander and Chief, Lisa, & Grobie elves arrived at TW at about 3:30 for set up. We had a huge empty tent that needed Grobanized, and brother what a job we did! Since Starry Starry Night was our theme for the M&G, tableclothes were midnight blue. 30 or so round tables and for centerpieces, Carla (bertbird) brought three colors of balloons AND mylar balloons with Josh on them. We had about 8 balloons at each table--was beautiful. What a great crew we had getting them blown up and what a lot of hot air was used (from helium tank--not Grobie hot air, hehe). A lot of our HOGs helped in this effort--thanks guys. And thanks Kathi for getting those freakin' balloons off the ceiling!

Registration desk had the goodie bags-- t-shirts, nametags etc. Between Kathi & Andrea, we had 550 Josh buttons--needless to say--they're GONE! Goodie bags had mousepads, chocolate coins, pencils, tattoos, bookmarks, lyric song books and more. DFF & David S each had their own auction tables--and they had so many donations that we had to set up two additional tables.

A HUGE HUGE HUGE Thank you! to all you elves!!!!! Honestly we cannot thank you enough! Grobies who work well together, stay together--so I think the future is good for Grobania. Everyone pitched right in and did whatever was requested of them. We had elves as Greeters (the gates were opened early and we were flooded with Grobie guests early, so the Greeters had their work cut out for them cos we just weren't ready); registration, and both auctions. Elves at the gate deliverying tickets and parking passes. The balloon squad mentioned above; and the ladies who walked around and around that goodie bag table for over an hour in the humidity and heat stuffing over 300 goodie bags. You ALL rock! So many smiling, happy, willing people--it's was just wonderful!!!

The M&G underway--eating, laughing, talking, hugging, more laughing. Lisa making announcements--some crazy, some logistical. Good, simple food, lots to drink!

8 pm -- the anticipation is HUGE and we all head over to the Shed! Lot's of Grobies in pins with nametags stir up quite a bit of interest--we Spread a little Josh!

The M&G before the show was so much fun. We all got goody bags and they had a T shirt, small poster thingy, lyrics book, magnets with the word to Let Me Fall, a mouse pad, and more I'm sure but my mind is blanking out. There was a buffet, raffle, auction, all of that. Free Coca Cola! yeeeeaaaah. Like I needed the caffeine then. Lisa McCabe came and talked for a little while. Everyone was minglin' and taking pictures. They had these great balloons with Josh;s face on em and big banners. I could hardly eat I was so psyched about the concert.
