Mine. All mine.
(And my wife's)

If you want the info on my car, visit here. For pictures, stay here.

These are the pictures of the seemingly never-ending project known as Rusty. My daughter, who was 4 at the time, decided it would be a great idea to name our Volare and my brother's Duster with rhyming words. So his is named Dusty. Judging by these photos, however, you'll notice that our Volare should also be named Dusty.

It's finally almost to the point of being started, after being stored and occasionally tinkered with for nearly 2½ years.

Here's the story, in case you really want to know...

I bought the car from a family friend, who is also a Mopar guy, while my wife was really wanting me to buy her a car. I liked the Mopars and all, but never really thought of buying one myself. Anyway, I knew that the car was in good shape, and ran really strong, so my wife lovingly gave me the go-ahead. And there it began.

Rusty had apparently been used for some heavy duty drag-racing, with a 440 stuck under the hood at one point. Unfortunately, the 440 was no longer there, but in its place was a jewel of a Li'l Red Express 360 with 340 X-Heads sitting on top.

Well, the Carter AFB started giving me some crap, and after a couple of months, the turn signal harness went out. (I have it, but still haven't put it in...lazy ol' me.) So we decided to just do what I had been begging for lately and completely rebuild a rumbly street car that looked good enough to show on occasion.

And there it has sat. And sat. Poor baby. It will be running soon, though. I guarantee it.

I'm also an A-Body fan, having always liked the Darts. That's why I bought my 74 Scamp. But now it's for sale. Cheap. If you want it, let me know.

These are pics from before it was torn apart. I have a couple more to post. Notice the Magnum 500s now gracing the wheel wells of my Scamp!
