| Our Story
We met at Accenture, then called Andersen Consulting. I started working for Accenture in July 1995 while Fern started in September of the same year. We met at the cafeteria of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Office in Quezon City, Philippines towards the end of September. Sitting right next to each other in one of the team lunches, we hardly talked, yet became best of friends thereafter. - Jef Yup, we were best friends for a long time. And like most friends from opposite sexes, we went through a period of confusion. We were already very close and comfortable with each other. We both know that we can no longer be just friends. Yet, we were unsure if we're ready for a relationship, and risk losing our friendship. As my favorite line goes, "Our choices depend on the chances we take", we then took a chance and made a choice. That was more than four years ago, and we've been together ever since. - Fern
