When a young man named Tidus finds out that his hometown is destroyed and that he is the lone survivor amid a world of ruins, his bewilderment and wandering leads him to meet the daughter of a famous summoner. Her name is Yuna and they are brought together in an equal cause, to journey through Spira and defeat the evil Sin (also known as Shin). If they are successful, they will have to grow stronger during their journey and master the arts of combat which they are trained in.
