:: Final Fantasy X - battle system ::
The battle system in FFX is somewhat like other Final Fantasies but unique as well. It will be moving back to three characters in a party, however there is an added feature. Other members of your team will be able to jump in during battle, possibly like a Tekken Tag Tournament type of thing. You will be able to call any character out at any point to use a certain type of skill.
Also, magic points will be used in battle, which means that the magic will be different than that of Final Fantasy VIII. Another unique thing about FFX's battle system is that important battles and boss fights will occur on the regular map rather than going into battle mode or map like on the other Final Fantasies. Winning battles will also have more to do with your character's positioning, the terrain they're on, and other more complex factors.... |
