Faris is the leader of a band of pirates. He joins the team after first capturing them as prisoners, but then hearing their story decides to fight alongside them. He finds it difficult to gain the trust of his companions early in the game.

Despite his age and stature, Galuf is an extremely powerful team member, joining the group after he investigates one of the origional meteor striks and finds Bartz. Later in the game he reveals the reason behind his power: He was once one of the Warriors of Dawn. |
