E-Mail of the Week
I have received a few good e-mails since FireRollie.com came online. So now, I have decided to
create the E-Mail of the Week contest. No prizes, just bragging rights.
To enter, just send me and e-mail at almostfamous@firerollie.com
and say that you're writing to be a part of the contest. It's that simple!
E-mails may be edited for formatting purposes, though the content of the
message will stay intact.
For the Week of February 24, 2002
After receiving pretty much nothing for the last couple
of weeks, I received this e-mail from a season ticket holder named Bill,
who, well, echoes the sentiments of a lot of people who have pretty much
stayed home recently. Here is his story:
From: "BILL"

Subject: SUPPORT FOR YOUR SITE
Dear Almost Famous,
I have been a CSU basketball season ticket holder for 15 years.
I am a 1981 CSU alumnus, who never attended a game until the "Sweet
16 Year", but have ever since. I sit in the 2nd row right
behind Rollie.
I completely agree that it is time for Rollie to go. I never
played organized basketball, but I know enough about the game
to say that the fundamantals of the game are not making it from
the coach onto the court. It also has become more and more obvious
that Rollie is losing his players' confidence.
The team's defense has been inconsistent and the offense has
been non-existent. There is no flow on offense they take turns
going one-on-one. I feel the talent this year was good, but the
results were very disappointing. This is why the attendance has
gotten worse every year that Rollie has been here.
