WILD WATER INTERNATIONAL CLASSIFICATION
WW I - Easy navigation, low and regular waves.
WW II - Easy navigation in moving water; easy choice of passages, easy drop-offs, back eddies easy to catch.
WW III - Difficult navigation in strong current, high and irregular waves, breakers, rollers, back eddies.
WW IV - Very difficult navigation, very strong current, big waves, sharp bends, powerful drop-offs.
WW V - Exceedingly difficult navigation.Very strong current, big haystacks, big falls. Impossible for open canoes.
WW VI - Extremely difficult. Limit of navigation. Safety devices
compulsory.

CAUTION
I am building these maps and related informations to help canoists on
the rivers. Maps are reduced to simple but accurate schemes to help an
easy and direct download. Be watchful on the river because I can make mistakes
and rivers change frequently, both for human and natural reasons. The level
class is referred to normal water levels and normal weather conditions.
I don't take responsibility for errors or omissions of any kind. The canoist
who runs a river assumes personal responsibility for his own safety and
for the safey of others on the trip. Be careful, and watch where you put
your bow!
