Welcome! This PE 101 Resource Guide site was
especially designed for Ateneo students to help them in their PE 101 class. It
serves as a resource page to help facilitate them in their lessons. Included here
is the complete outline designed by the Physical Education Department of the
Ateneo de Manila University.

Physical Education is an educational process that uses physical activity
as a means to help individuals acquire a skill. Fitness, knowledge, and attitudes
contribute to the optimal development and well-being of the person. Through
Physical Education 101- which teaches the fundamentals of health and fitness,
the Ateneo wants its students to be well-equipped for a well-rounded and healthy
lifestyle. Sports and recreational activities aren't enough without the proper
knowledge and guidelines, safety tips, and knowledge about the nature of the
human body.

The aim of this site is to promote health and fitness among the Ateneans
through proper education and information. Please don't forget to check out the
links page for other sites and for further information. The contents page provides
an organized view of the course outline, which may help you get around the site.
I also placed related links under the main headings so that you can access further information on the topics.

This also serves as an interactive module for Mr. Ginzon's class. The various articles here were
taken form his class lectures, group researches, and my own personal research as well. If you want to add information, feel free to e-mail me. I want to keep this site as updated and as informative as possible. So
take the time to go around! I hope this will be very helpful for you. Also, please do not forget to sign my guestbook, comments and suggestions will be deeply appreciated. Enjoy!
