The Photo Gallery

Welcome to the "new and improved" photo gallery. Why is it new and improved? Because I now replace the pictures on this page every once in a while to keep it fresh and I archive the rest. Enjoy!!!

I've been interested in photography since about the age of 12 or 13 I guess. I started out with an old 126 camera and then purchased my first SLR in '89 when I was in Turkey. That was the best thing I ever did, photographically speaking. It was a Pentax K-1000 but that was enough to get me started. Ever since then I've been going through roll after roll looking for that perfect shot. I currently have that original Pentax K-1000 as a backup camera along with a Nikon N90S photography system, a Kiev-88 TTL 6x6/6x4.5 medium format camera and a Pentax IQZoom EZY P&S "just in case". The newest addition to my pack is the Nikon D100 digital camera - what a gem.

Since I travel a lot I have been very lucky to get shots of some beautiful places. My photos are included throughout my various pages at this website but here are some of the ones that I like the most. Click on the thumbnail photo for a larger, better picture.

Thanks to all of you who have expressed interest in purchasing or who have actually purchased photos of mine. If there is enough demand I plan on creating a fully commercial site to display and sell pictures. In the meantime, enjoy!
