Swan Lake is located in Sumter, South Carolina. The gardens cover more than 150 acres of land. Swan Lake is home to all eight species of swans and maybe be the only place in the world where all species can be found. From the Northern Hemisphere come five of the eight species: Mute Swans, Bewick's Swans, Whistling Swans (aka Tundra Swans), Whooper Swans and Trumpeter Swans. There are also the Black Swans of Australia. Lastly there are the Coscoroba and Black-necked Swans that come from the Southern Hemisphere.
