he more conventional side of the Republic called for simple tanks, what they got was complex fighting machines. The people called for transportation, what they got was a line of sleek and fast jet cycles and cars... now the standard of vehicles on UMR equal to the mechanized force.

While the hoverversion of most vehicles are the best, most all terrian vehicles, the treaded tanks still work better in the field. The recoil from the cannons is best negated by the friction between the treads and earth, where as hover tanks needed recoil jets to counter the blasts, making it unsafe to stand infront and behind a hovertank.
