Randy is a native of Marietta, Georgia, where he grew up and graduated from Marietta High School in 1980.
He went on to study music education at Valdosta State College.
Before returning to Atlanta in 1985, Randy worked out of Jacksonville, Florida and performed with a number
of well known big bands including The Glenn Miller Band, The Cab Calloway Orchestra, The Larry Elgart "Hooked On Swing"
Orchestra, and Bob Crosby and The Bobcats.
In addition to Forecast, Randy currently performs regularly with the Atlanta based band The League of Decency.
He has performed with opening acts for Chicago, Earth, Wind, and Fire, Jr. Walker and the All -Stars, Ko Ko Taylor,
The Royal Crown Revue, and local recording artist Francine Reed.
Randy has performed on a number of recording projects including radio and t.v. commercials for the Atlanta Braves,
Turner Classic Movies, and The Cartoon Network. He has also performed on a number of albums and CDs with various
artists including blues stars Chick Willis and Vernon Garrett.
As a Teacher on staff at Ken Stanton Music, Randy pushes his students to
excel at their craft and make a mark. To prove Randys ability, he has had
