A Witch Is...
...one who has power over their own life
...one who makes their own rules but can abide by the rules of Nature
...one who refuses to submit to self-denial
...one who recognizes no authority with a greater esteem
than their own, who is loyal to self
...one who is untamed and tamed
...one who transforms energy for the good of all
...one who can be passionate about their ideals
and values as they are changing
...one who is explosive, whose intensity is like
volcanos, floods, winds, fire
...one who is disorderly and orderly
...one who is ecstatic
...one who alters reality
...one who says, "I am a witch" aloud three times

REMEMBERING LOST CHILDREN
Every year there are a great number of children,
who die, who are kidnaped, or who are runaways.
Others are lost in crime, drugs, prostitution or
horrible family environments. We should remember
all of them, whether or not we personally know them.

For children who have died, light a candle of white
in remembrance. Ask the Gods to comfort the family
members left behind, and to guide the souls and bring
comfort to the deceased. Let the candle burn out.

For children who are kidnaped, burn a candle of red
asking that they are given strength and wisdom to
endure and escape. Ask the Gods to lead the authorities
to them.

Light a candle of blue for runaways who are caught in
terrible situations. Ask that they be given the wisdom
to get help and the courage to break free of whatever
holds their body and their minds.

Although these seem like very simple rituals, their
power to change circumstances is great.

PROTECTION SPELL

Perform on a night of the new moon if possible. Need: salt, wine, water, white candle

Sprinkle salt on floor and stand on it, lighting
white candle. Let the warmth of the candle be
absorbed in the body. Mix water and wine meditating
on reason for performing self-blessing. Chant:
"Bless me, Mother, for I am Thy child."
dip fingers of right hand in mixture and anoint eyes.
"Blessed be my eyes, that I may see Thy path."
anoint nose
"Blessed be my nose, that I may breath Thy essence"
anoint mouth
"Blessed be my mouth that I may speak of Thee."
anoint breast
"Blessed be my breast, that I may be faithful in my work."
anoint loins
"Blessed be my loins, which bring forth the life of man
as Thou brought forth all creation."
anoint feet
"Blessed be my feet, that I may walk in Thy ways."
Drink the remainder the water and wine.
"As my will, so mote it be"

TO REPEL AN EVIL PERSON

Toss salt in the air or on the person in question.
While doing so, repeat 3 times:

"Black lagy, hammerhead. Roman tree
and red thread
Put this person to their speed"
"As my will, so mote it be"

MONEY INCREASE

At one minute after midnight on a festival
date, you should have all set up: one gold candle
six green candles, and nine white candles. And of
course salt. Place the gold candle in the center of
the table and circle it with the six green candles.
Then enclose these inside a circle of nine white
candles. Use the salt to pour a protective circle
around the candles. Light the candles, starting with
gold, then green, then white. Chant three times:

"Orbiting Jupiter,
Trine the Sun:
Bring money on the run."

"As my will, so mote it be"

Concentrate on increasing finances for a while.
Extinguish candles.
