2. Wand -- One of the primary magickal tools
used to project your energy to a certain place,
thing, person, or dimension. Also an instrument
of invocation. It is usually crafted of wood;
different types of wood have different magickal
properties.

3. Censer -- The incenser burner purifies the
area you are working in. Incense helps us reach
altered states of consciousness. The element of air.

4. Cauldron -- A symbol of the Goddess, the cauldron
is the container in which magickal transformations
occur. It can also be filled with water and used for
scrying.

5. Athame -- A magickal knife used for commanding
and manipulating energy raised in rituals. It might
have a black handle, but it does not have to. It
usually has a double-edged blade, but it never
used for cutting. Linked with the God and the
element of Fire.

6. Pentacle -- Usually a flat disc made of wood,
clay, wax, or metal. It is inscribed with the
pentagram, and may have other inscriptions as well.
Used for protection, to invoke entities, and as a
tool to place amulets, charms, objects, or cakes
upon. Element of Earth.

7. Chalice -- A cup symbolic of the Goddess and
fertility. They hold water, wine, or any ritual
drink. It can be made of any food-safe material:
silver, gold, brass, ceramic, wood, crystal, etc.
Element of Water.

8. Bell -- A feminine symbol used to invoke the
Goddess. Sometimes rung in ritual to signify the
beginning or end of a spell.

9. Book of Shadows -- The Witch's workbook
containing spells, rituals, rules, invocations,
symbols, and other magickal references and lore.
Can be a notebook, binder, or any bound, blank
book. A very important form of record-keeping.
