Feedback

If you have any feedback you'd like to give on the story, the web site, or anything else relating to Pilot Light, I'd love to hear it! The best way to give me feedback is to post a review on the story at FanFiction.Net. However if you'd like to contact me some other way, feel free to look at the author page to see some other places I can be found online.

I'm posting the feedback received at The Vulpix Club here so that people can see what others have had to say. Note: if any of the people quoted here would prefer not to be, just let me know and I'll take your quote down. I just thought it'd be nice to gather all the feedback received here, like the review section at FanFiction.Net.

Feedback from The Vulpix Club

From firevulpix037 (27 Nov 2007):
"Foxfire, I finally finished what you've written so far of "Pilot Light" yesterday, all 31 posted chapters . . . This is a great story so far, very absorbing! But I just had to post this coincidence, because I wouldn't feel right if I didn't - there's a song on Duran Duran's 2004 CD "Astronaut" called "Chains" . . . and the main verse is this: "Put my hand into the flame, burning but I feel no pain, Don't speak Don't speak my name, hold on to this life of chains". It just reminded me SO much of Kit in your fic, and how her ability has put a lot on her shoulders, and how she doesn't really know who she is anymore! (There is a lyric in the last track on that CD, "Still Breathing", less direct, but it goes "Heart, although it's hot and violent, my head is cool and quiet, as ashes that fall from the sky" - which also reminded me of PL).

I also wanted to tell you I checked out all your PL artwork, and your drawing of Taylor as a Ninetales is one of the coolest Ninetales drawings I've ever seen! The one of Kit as a vulpix is also very cute. You're not only a great writer, but a great artist as well!"

From jmdangcil (5 Nov 2005):
"Hey Foxfire GREAT story I never read a story as good as Pilot Light.I love Ninetales and Vulpixes. You are a great wrighter."

From blltiger (15 Sep 2005):
"The story has so far been well written and has progress at nice pace. I think 'Kit should run
into her trainer in a way that he finds out about here twin nature. This would add to the story as she works out her relationship with him and here can help learn how to fight better."

From foxyjoshua (26 Sep 2003):
"Wow! You got me on the edge of my seat now! This is by far the BEST story on the net. Keep up the good work :)"

From firevulpix2003 (17 Jul 2003):
"I also agree that Pilot Light is a great story. Keep it up."

From redtail45044 (11 Jan 2003):
"All I can say is cooooolll..."

From robertediamond (10 Jan 2003):
"I'm so happy a story could be centered around Vulpix and Ninetales. Is that all that is created so far...The Prologue? If so, keep working at it...You've gotten me interested and was quite disappointed to see the story end so soon . . . You left me hanging there and I can't wait to read the rest of it. So far, it's full of detail and involves the senses...Its so cute, yet I get an errie sense of nostalgia for some reason. There's some mispellings but who cares? I'm not your grammer teacher. I'm just a big time Vulpix and Ninetales fan . . . Anyway, keep up the good work and keep me posted on it. Many thanks for an interesting story."
