This page is contest central for all of the contests here at IMO. Currently only the Football Frenzy contest is actively running starting in November of each year. The March Mayhem contest is still in the beta stage and has not be officially rolled-out. Each contest has an active scoreboard updated daily when the contest is in progress. Contest winners are recognized in the proper Hall of Fame with photo and records set by the winner. The main goal is for the family to come together in fun and even though we can't all be in the same room as we watch the games and track each others progress it kind of feels like we are. So don't be shy jump in after all what do you have to loose?

This contest is based on the Bowl Mania contest created by ESPN during the 2004 - 05 College Bowl Season and is not my original idea. I have adopted their idea with a few changes and present it here for our family fun. The winner of the contest will be the person who is best able to pick the most winners of each of the 32 bowl games and collect the highest number of confidence points. |

March Mayhem
During the time of the year that most people know as March Madness. A time when all around the country people are getting out their no. 2 pencils and paper to put together their basketball brackets all in an effort to predict what team will be crowned NCAA Division 1 Basketball Champion for the year. We here at IMO have our March Mayhem contest. Each entrant selects which team will win each game round by round. The point value of each game goes up as each round get us closer to crowning a champion. The winner is the person who has done the best job of predicting the wining team balancing their enthusiasm with knowledge points. |
