You can make the work of cutting mortises hinges on large doors precise and quick using a simple shop built Hinge Mortise Jig.  This four part jig can be built to accommodate any size hinge in about an  hour.

Mounting a lockset on a heavy oak door is made easy when you use this 
Lock Bolt Mortise Jig to center the mortise for the bolt.  The method used to construct this jig can be used to make many different jigs for routing mortises.

You can use a 
Router Compass Jig  to route groves along an arc.  The plywood jig shown here is a classic teardrop design which can be modified  to cut both large and small radius curves, and will work with most routers.

Cutting tapers on the tablesaw is an easy task with a
Taper Jig. The design for this jig utilizes common hardware, which is available in most local hardware stores. This jig incorporates an easy method for setting the taper angle.
