| I've been trying to squeeze in all my updates in the mainpage... but it was getting too small... so I thought it could use it's own page.... please email me at jnamwong@ucla.edu or post a message on the forum if you have stuff to contribute or to correct my own updates... thank you!! |
| 6/11/01 : I look like a chipmunk... (got 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled out all at once and got braces the day before) and I can't eat solid foods... very miserable... but relatively happy because some wonderful man from the IMCINE website emailed me back. He promised me that he will send me a copy of De Tripas Corazon as soon as he has the opportunity to. I will be sure to setup some kind of a page just to review all of the ggb movies I have viewed. I'm hoping that more people will use the guestbook/forum to contribute more opinions or information... i don't like talking to myself you know!!! |
| 6/9/01: I had just received my own copy of Mi Abuelo Mi Perro y Yo... and I have gotten through a good portion... though i doubt this is the same novella Gael was in... because I do not see him... I know he plays a character named Daniel... but there are so many little kids in the movie!! I don't know which one he is!! I do not know any Spanish either... so it makes it all the more difficult to understand.... :( I will do some research in my spare time to see if this is the same television show he was in.... |
| 6.20.01 Sorry i haven't been updating this as often as i want... my puter sucks and it takes forever to download geocities.... there is a new picture of ggb up and everyone should go check out the article... it's very informative.... well, i'm done with my last paper and now i'm working my tail off to pay off my dentist fees... i'm actuall at work and typing this up right now... i did not get a response about the de tripas corazon video yet... i'm just gonna wait patiently... which means you must wait patiently too... kidding... if anyone has that video... please send me a copy... i will love you to death... janelle |
| i know, i know... i haven't been updating as much as i should be.... i found out a lot from surffing though ... he's in this short movie ... which title slips my mind... but there is a picture and link of it on the recent picture page... go check that out.... and he's in this thing with cecilia roth called private lives... i'm gonna have to do more research and tell you more though... the unfortunate thing is that i don't understand spanish... so it get's real hard for me... alrighty... that's it for now... janelle |

| 6/29/01 you know, it's hard to learn about your favorite actor when you are not living in the same country he is in, and you don't speak a word of his language.... i actually feel silly....i have only seen one of his movies... and have not seen y tu mama tambien... i just hear about how good it is through the internet.... i try my best to seek things out... but somehow i do not feel very accomplished... everyone talks about the soap opera he was in and de tripas corazon... but i do ever have the opportunity to see |

| 7/10/01 well... i'm certainly not as despondent as i was in the earlier entry... but i'm still not that happy... i have not found that many new news to report, other than the success of y tu mama tambien... which i don't know how i can go see.. i'm gonna have to take the trip down to mexico just to see that!! jn |
