| 9/14/01: The tragedy on Sept. 11, 2001 at the World Trade Center in New York stunned the world. I was very shocked and upset by the disaster. There are too many emotions, too much sorrow, and too much anger. I wish to urge people not to be drastic. There needs to be justice in the world, but let us not confuse that with retribution. I do not want to see a war based on revenge. As Gandhi (i hope i spelled that right) once put it "An eye for an eye, and the whole world goes blind." So let us mourn our losses and prevent this from happening again, but let us not have anger and hate pollute our minds. Violence promises for more violence. I hope everyone takes a moment to meditate on the events and search for a more lasting solution. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 9/16/01 i still haven't really gotten over the tragedy... i guess we will never... but i've been trying to get my mind off of things... so i had just rented "In the Mood for Love" which is one of Gael's recommendations.... i will see if we have the same taste... hee hee... |

| 10/20/01: AHHH!! i'm back... i found a great informative article on the "lily and the secret planting" movie, it was on a kate winslet site.. and here it is! www.kwfc.com. i've also finally got the October Elle everyone was talking about.. i got it at the bus stop! hee hee... i have the new pictures up.. go take a look... and i got to see a great movie this friday! i totally reccomend it! it's called "Waking Life." i love that movie!! okay... i'll be back.. i've got midterms this week! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
