| 7/20 no no... i did not forget to update this page! lol... i just didn't have much info until recently... cuz i got to see De Tripas Corazon!! (Big hug and THANKS to the wonderful people at IMCINE!!! I LOVE YOU!!) It was such a sweet short... every ggb fan needs to see it!!! :) GGB was adorable in that movie... i saw it so many times... i think i wore out the tape... the movie is about the coming of age for young men and the trials they face... sweet film... the scenery is gorgeous and rich, and the dialogue was sincere... okay.. that's it for now! | 7/31/01 There's not really anything to update on, other than the fact that i saw 3 great films recently... The Closet... Ghost World... and Hedwig and the Angry Inch... Hedwig is my favorite.. though it made me sad.. anyways.. just writing to let you know i'm alive! JN |
| 8/16/01... i'm back!! i just went to europe for awhile... no i'm not looking for gael in rome or london!! i'm not CRAZY!! hee hee.. but i can see why he loves those cities so much... it's so different from LA!! :) anyways... i would like to address a serious issue now... i am not looking for any form of relationship with gael!! lol.. it's great if he is dating cecilia suarez (if he is) and i don't want to report on info that may be too personal... relationships end and begin... so it's never stable... thus i don't like to report things that i am not certain of!! hee hee... okay... i thought i would clear that up! | 8/17/01: I was just informed about a new movie that gael will be in... it's called "Lily and the Secret Planting" with wynona rider in it.... i will get the links up asap... i know there is a blurb on it on upcomingmovies.com... okay... thanks for the scoop! oh, yea... one more issue i thought i would bring up... why does gael dislike hollywood so much? i live in hollywood... and it makes me sad... |

| 8/20/01: my sister is watching "Illusions of Blood" right now.. but i am too excited to watch, cuz i just bought the August copy of Eres with Gael on the cover!! lol... he's getting very popular now.. there is a great interview in the the magazine and some real funny photos... i will scan only one, so you would still want to buy the magazine! They compare him to Leonard diCaprio.. fortunately he declined such similarities!!! i'm so glad about that... and today i just bought the "y tu mama tambien" soundtrack, which i will review soon.. i'm very picky about music too... so don't take me seriously!! lol |
| 8/25/01 after long listenings to the y tu mama tambien soundtrack... i figure... it's not as good as the amores perros soundtrack... but it has it's merits! frank zappa was marvelous (adored the guitar!)... so was marco antonio solis... i brian eno was a surprise.. cuz he (like radiohead) always puts me to sleep.. but the song "by the river" was really good for me!! senor coconut and bran van 3000 were wonderful too... i enjoyed titan y la mala rodriguez.. though i wish the vocal tracks were louder... unfortunately.. i have to give this soundtrack a flat B because natalie imbruglia killed it... :P sorry.. i told you i was picky! and though there were great songs at the end... it couldn't pull the entire soundtrack up to the A standing it could have been... too many songs in english... oh, yea... and i give amores perros soundtrack an A.. superb... more updates |
