The Guild holds weekly chats at 10:00 EST on a Saturday morning. Typically, we use AIM for these chats, which can be downloaded for free from AOL even if you are not a subscriber to its services.
Although the majority of conversations do revolve around Gambit and the X-Books, as the chats are a less formal venue, we also tend to talk about a wide range of topics from films to novels to computers to sites that we have enjoyed. As a result, it is a really great venue to make friends and get to know other Guildites, and, as the chats are private, there is no chance of running into anyone odder than us Gambit-obsessives on the Guild. Similarly, the President and Vice-President are usually there, and, although there is no strict moderation, they will not hesitate to speak to anyone who is disruptive or obscene.
Because the chats are private, people have to be invited to them. It's simple, though. Once you have joined the list, simply send an e-mail to our Chat Co-ordinator (and Vice-President) Alexis at alexis@twcny.rr.com and give her your AIM ID. (That's just the name under which you subscribed to AIM.) She'll add it to her list, and, if you're online at 10:00 EST on a Saturday and your copy of AIM is open, she'll invite you to the list. Please don't ask her, though, if you're not a member. We have a list of all subscribers and, if you're not on it, you won't be invited. We are sorry, but it is our way of keeping out the unpleasant element for which chats have become notorious.
So, there are few safer, more pleasant places to chat and we hope that, if you join the Guild, you will also join us there.

Murdock Statement: The Gambit Guild is
not an official fansite, and, as such, is not
endorsed by Marvel. Nonetheless, we do
acknowledge our debt to them for creating such a
wonderful character and would not dream of making
any profit from him other than the enrichment of
our imaginations. All textual content on the site
is, however, property of the Gambit Guild. If you
wish to use it on your own site, please ask.
We'll only be to happy to help.
