A TIMELINE AND HISTORY OF BACKYARD CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING
BCW started out as The BWF (Backyard Wrestling Federation) in the spring of 1999. In the beginning, The BWF consisted of 3 main players. Those 3 main players were Pimp Daddy, Flying Tiger, and The Samoan Gangsta. Pimp Daddy's career highlight was retiring and "burying" Stone Cold Ryan Austin in a casket match. Pimp Daddy was a complete duplicate of The Godfather, complete with top hat, fine looking ladies, and a pixie-stick stogie. Flying Tiger had a great career in The BWF, but it was cut short by the fatal crash of his Ford Bronco. Flying Tiger's career highlight was winning the now defunct BWF Light Heavyweight Championship. The Samoan Gangsta had a short-lived, but very brutal career in The BWF. The Samoan Gangsta challenged and lost to Pimp Daddy in a very, very hardcore match. Shortly after The Samoan Gangsta exited The BWF, anew face entered. The Arabian Gangster entered The BWF and instantly targeted Pimp Daddy. Their feud was so intense that The Arabian Gangster fought 'Pimper' (as The Gangster called him) in a Retirement Match. This brutal match ended in a no-contest, as both men were knocked unconscious. This resulted in a brief partnership between the two. They even held the now defunct BWF Tag Team Title. Their partnership didn't last long, and resulted in an even more brutal feud. After a brutal match against The Gangster, Pimp Daddy retired from BWF. Pimp Daddy said that the reason for
his retirement was that the in ring wars had taken too much of a toll on his body.
In the summer of 1999, a new force entered The BWF. Human Suplex Machine entered and immediately challenged The Arabian Gangster. HSM and The Gangster fought each other throughout the remainder of the summer, and into the fall until The BWF President issued a match between the two, with the
winner becoming the first ever BWF Hardkore Champion. In December of '99', this match took place. The Arabian Gangster came out on top to become the champion. The BWF President also issued one more match to take place
between HSM and The Arabian Gangster. This match would be a two-fall match for the newly created FTW (F*CK THE WORLD) Title and the BWF World Title. This match took place in April 2000 and HSM won both falls to become the first ever FTW and World Champions. In May, BWF hired a new referee, Hardkore Eaton.
Also in May, The BWF President announced that The BWF would put on its first Pay Per View on June 4, 2000. The PPV would be called Hardkore Hell 2000. A match between The Arabian Gangster and HSM would take place at Hardkore Hell 2000. This would be no ordinary match, as it would be a 3-fall match for the BWF World, FTW, and Hardkore Titles. The BWF President stated that Hardkore Eaton would be the referee for this special occasion.
Approximately two weeks before Hardkore Hell, a little surprise happened to
HSM. In an impromptu match up, The Arabian Gangster beat HSM for the World
Title. This reign didn't last long, however, as The Gangster lost the title back to HSM four days later. With this win, The Gangster only needed to win The FTW title to have held all 3 titles in BWF history, thus becoming the Triple Crown
Winner of Hardkore. The Gangster said that all he had was "One More Road To Cross", and that was to win the FTW Title.
HARDKORE HELL, June 4 2000
Hardkore Hell finally came, and it lived up to and surpassed expectations. Going into Hardkore Hell, The Arabian Gangster held the Hardkore Title, but HSM held the World and FTW Titles. As Hardkore Hell started, HSM drove his Bronco into BWF Arena. None other than Hardkore Eaton got out of the Bronco with HSM,
which raised the question of whether HSM had paid Hardkore Eaton off to fix the match. The first fall was for the World Title. Just as it looked like HSM was
going to win, Hardkore Eaton screwed HSM by not counting the pin for him when he had The Gangster down. This put to rest any thoughts of HSM paying
Hardkore Eaton off. Enraged, HSM got up and went after Hardkore Eaton.
While HSM was going after Hardkore Eaton, The Arabian Gangster recovered and gave HSM a huracanrana DDT. Hardkore Eaton then covered HSM, but there was no referee. Or so HSM thought. Arabian Gangster ripped off his shirt to reveal a referee shirt underneath. Arabian Gangster then counted the pin for Hardkore Eaton to make Hardkore the new BWF World Champion. While Hardkore Eaton and The Gangster were celebrating, HSM rebounded and
attacked both men. The highlight of the second fall was The Arabian Gangster
leaping off of HSM's Bronco to put HSM through a table. Arabian Gangster didn't do it just once, though. The Gangster had to do it 3 times before he could finally put HSM through it. Hardkore Eaton then counted the pin to make Arabian
Gangster the new FTW Champion. This meant that The Gangster had fulfilled
his dream of becoming The Triple Crown Winner of Hardkore. The third fall was definitely the most brutal. HSM won the third fall when he blocked The Arabian Gangster's huracanrana attempt and powerbombed him on the outside through a brigade of boxes. This meant that HSM was the new BWF Hardkore Champion! After The Gangster recovered, he got the mic and entered the ring. The
Gangster said that he had achieved all he ever wanted to achieve in The BWF.
He said that being the first Triple Crown Winner of Hardkore was his dream. The Gangster also said that he wanted to spend more time with his wife and kids. The Gangster then forfeited his newly won FTW Title, shook HSM's hand, and told HSM to "Rule the world of BWF." The Gangster then left BWF, with his music "One More Road To Cross" by DMX.
The month of June brought about many changes for The BWF. Most notably,
The BWF changed its name to BCW on June 29, 2000. Also, on June 29, 2000, in a non-televised event, a match took place to crown anew Streetfight
(Formerly FTW) Champion. The match was a triple threat match between
Hardkore Eaton, Human Suplex Machine, and the debuting Blonde Ambition. In
his debut, Blonde Ambition failed to get a win, but Hardkore Eaton surprised everybody by pinning HSM and winning the Streetfight Title. After this match, Hardkore Eaton challenged HSM to a match in which, if Hardkore Eaton won, HSM would have to change his name. Hardkore Eaton won this match when Blonde Ambition came out and attacked HSM. After the match, Blonde Ambition called HSM a bastard. HSM liked that name, and Bastard was born. In the
month of July, rumors circulated around a new person coming to BCW. This person would be the new Commissioner of BCW. The next BCW PPV was scheduled for August 8, 2000 and was to be called One More Road To Cross. All signs pointed to this new superstar showing up at One More Road To Cross.
ONE MORE ROAD TO CROSS, AUGUST 8 2000
The weather on this particular day was unlike any other day in BCW history .The temperature was in the high 90's, and the humidity was very high. The opening match pitted Hardkore Eaton defending his World Title in a match against new BCW superstar B.Atch. This match had a special stipulation, though. To be declared the winner, you had to throw your opponent out of the ring. Hardkore Eaton was very confident going into this match, but that was all about to
change. B.Atch came out wearing a mask, which threw Hardkore Eaton off of his game plan. Hardkore Eaton dominated B.Atch until Bastard rushed the ring and threw Hardkore out, which meant that B.Atch was the new BCW World Champion. As Bastard beat the hell out of Hardkore Eaton, injuring his leg in the process, B. Atch celebrated by jumping up and down. Minutes later though, B.Atch was not happy. The new BCW Superstar debuted. He called himself Commissioner Keener, and said that he was in BCW to stop the chaos. His first act as Commissioner was to strip B.Atch of his newly won World Title. Keener kicked B.Atch out of the ring and said that the World Title didn't mean crap, and was no longer recognized in BCW. He then threw the title on the ground. Keener then stripped Hardkore Eaton of The Streetfight Title (because of his injury) and said that Blonde Ambition and Bastard would fight in a best of seven series of Hardkore matches to crown anew BCW Streetfight Champion.
Blonde Ambition did his now famous 10-minute Nelly entrance, and Bastard entered to Papa Roach. The first match was a regular pinfall match. Bastard won after powerbombing Blonde Ambition. The second match was a submission match. Blonde Ambition won this match, but not without a little controversy. Blonde Ambition had Bastard locked in the Crippler Crossface, but Hardkore Eaton only raised Bastard's hand twice, and then declared Blonde Ambition the winner. Unaware of what Hardkore had done, Blonde Ambition started to celebrate knotting the series at 1-1. Bastard recovered and told Ambition that Hardkore only raised his hand twice, and that he hadn't given up. Bastard told Ambition that if he had any guts, they would restart the second match. Blonde Ambition agreed, and made Bastard pay for it. A few minutes into the match, Ambition locked Bastard in the Canadian Maple Leaf, and made Bastard tap. The third match was a Hardkore match, and Bastard won after laying Ambition out with a shovel shot to the head. The fourth match was a Streetlight match. Blonde Ambition won after hitting Sky Ambition on Bastard and pinning him on the outside of the ring. With fatigue set in and both superstars tiring quickly, the fifth match was a special box match. Blonde Ambition won after drop kicking Bastard off the ring and through a pile of boxes on the outside. Blonde Ambition held a commanding 3-2 lead going into the sixth match, a table match. This match proved to be a must win for Bastard. Bastard won this match after Bastard bombing Blonde Ambition through a table 2 times. The big story,
though, was Bastard yanking off Blonde Ambition's hat to reveal that Blonde Ambition wasn't really blonde at all. Ambition yelled and screamed, saying that Bastard had "ruined my dream". The seventh and deciding match was a Bronco Keys on a Pole Match. The winner would be the man that climbed the Bronco and retrieved the keys first. Blonde Ambition won the match, and the series, after a brutal contest. One of the many highlights of this match included Blonde Ambition getting Bastard bombed off the ring and through a table on the outside. After getting the keys, Blonde Ambition did a tribute to The Arabian Gangster
and hit Sky Ambition off the top of the Bronco and onto Bastard. When Blonde Ambition went to the ring to get his Streetfight Title, the Commish entered the ring. Blonde Ambition demanded his Streetfight Title, but the Commish had
other plans. He said that Ambition didn't deserve the title. Ambition said that he very much deserved the title. Ambition was ready to take it to the Commish when Bastard rushed the ring and gave Ambition 3 devastating German
Suplexes. Bastard and the Commish then left BCW Arena together. As they were walking out though, they got a little surprise. The Arabian Gangster's music played, and Bastard got a glimpse of The Gangster in the aisle way.
Bastard denied it, but it was The Gangster.
After the PPV, a new interview segment debuted. It was called B.Atch's Bubble Bath. Hardkore Eaton was the host, and B. Atch answered questions while in a bathtub with no water in it. During the first Bubble Bath, B.Atch found the World Title that Keener threw away, and proceeded to show it off. After the Bubble Bath, B.Atch invited Bastard to his house. Bastard went to Atch's house, but didn't expect to see what he saw. Bastard walked in on B.Atch f*cking his teddy bear, Fuzzy .B.Atch denied that he did it, but it is on tape. Batch asked Bastard to be his Tag Team partner for the next PPV, Last Resort in October, because he heard rumors that the BCW Tag Team Belts would be up for grabs. Bastard said no, and B.Atch went on to tell of his past when he worked for 7-11 in San Juan, Mexico and told of how his face got burnt.
During the months leading up to Last Resort, BCW made some major announcements. The first was the signing of new BCW star Kash Stax. The second was the addition of the new BCW Cruiserweight Division. The Cruiserweight Division was especially for wrestlers 150 pounds or lighter and the Cruiserweight Title was to replace the disbanded Streetfight Title, as Commissioner Keener had thrown away the Streetfight Title after One More Road To Cross.
LAST RESORT, OCTOBER 8 2000
Commissioner Keener continued his reign of terror at Last Resort. He made Blonde Ambition cut 30 pounds before the PPV to qualify for Cruiserweight weight, booked himself in a No.1 Contender Match, and booked his supposed friend Bastard in a BCW Gauntlet match. Also in the pre PPV, B.Atch showed off his new coat that his wife had bought him with all her money she had collected while hoeing. The first match at Last Resort was Hardcore Eaton vs. B.Atch in a Bronco Keys on a Pole Match for the unrecognized BCW World little that B.Atch still carried around. B.Atch won this contest after sprinting out of the entranceway, through the corn, and to the Bronco to retrieve the keys. B.Atch was excited because he now had a warm place to sleep at night. B.Atch taunted Hardkore Eaton and called him stupid. Hardkore went after Atch, but
Atch had an ace up his sleeve. Bastard emerged from the Bronco and helped Atch beat down Hardkore Eaton. Batch and Bastard then took Hardkore to the ring and gave him 2 High limes chokeslams. In the second match of the night, Hardkore Eaton tried to prove that his loss to Atch was a fluke. He took on Commissioner Keener in a No.1 Contender Match to the Hardkore Heavyweight Title, with the winner getting the shot at the December PPV. Hardkore collected the win when Blonde Ambition came in and attacked The Commish, enabling Hardkore to hit The Last Bite on Keener and win. Ambition was exacting
revenge on Keener for making him cut the weight, and for never giving him the Streetfight title at One More Road To Cross. After the match, Ambition also attacked Hardkore Eaton, proving that Ambition has no friends in BCW. The match for the new Cruiserweight title was next. Blonde Ambition took on Kash Stax in his BCW debut. After a great 25+ minute match, Ambition put Stax away with The Stupifier to become the first ever BCW Cruiserweight Champion. To
add insult to injury , after the match, B.Atch ran to the ring and stole Kash Stax's gold chains and money to cash in at a pawnshop. The Main Event Gauntlet Match for the Hardkore Heavyweight little was next. In this match, Bastard
would take on all of the BCW superstars. Bastard's first opponent was B.Atch. Not wanting to make Bastard mad, B.Atch laid down for Bastard, and wished
him good luck in his next matches. Bastard then beat Almost Amish, making his BCW debut, Kash Stax, Commissioner Keener, Blonde Ambition, and Hardkore Eaton after a brutal Bastardbomb on the outside of the ring. Bastard proved that he was The Kingpin of Hardcore. But, it wasn't over for Bastard yet. While Bastard was celebrating his win, The Arabian Gangster's music hit. Bastard was stunned as he saw The Gangster emerge from the back. The Gangster hit the ring and laid out Bastard with a huracanrana DDT. Arabian Gangster then got
the mic and said how he was disgusted with the way Bastard was leading BCW. The Gangster said that he wanted HSM to lead BCW, not a Bastard. He said he was enjoying retired life, but that he was back to scout talent and to find the next Arabian Gangster. Gangster then left by throwing the Hardkore belt onto a bloody and beaten Bastard.
After Last Resort, the superstars of BCW went bowling at Trindle Lanes. B.Atch asked if he could go along, but got hit in the head with a pan and stuffed in a trunk by Kash Stax for his efforts. When Atch yelled and screamed loud enough, the cops came and got him out of the trunk. The cops also yelled and screamed when they saw how ugly B.Atch was. When Atch got out of the trunk a car came speeding for him. It was Bastard, Hardkore Eaton, and Kash Stax. They got out and gang banged Atch, then fled the scene. Later that night, B.Atch came back with his second installment of B.Atch's Bubble Bath. Hardkore Eaton walked in as B. Atch was jamming to The Backstreet Boys. Atch mistakenly called them N'SVNC. During the Bubble Bath, Atch made a major announcement. He said that in late December, early January, his autobiography would be coming out. It was to be called "Spick Like Me." B. Atch then invited Bastard and Kash Stax to his house for a BCW party later on that night. Bastard and Kash Stax went to B. Atch's house later that night. B. Atch was on the phone with somebody when they walked in on him, but he wouldn't tell them who it was. Bastard and Kash Stax thought that it was B. Atch's wife, but B. Atch denied it. B. Atch made amends with Kash Stax for stealing his stuff, but Kash Stax had no hard feelings toward Atch, as he had already bought new jewelry .B. Atch passed out Wild Cherry Pepsi's for Bastard and Kash Stax to drink, and announced that Wild Cherry Pepsi would be the sponsor for the December PPV, called Deep Freeze. Hardkore Eaton tried to crash the party, but only got beaten up for his actions.
BCW made some more changes at the end of October. It was announced that BCW would hold a semi-monthly TV taping called Monthly Mayhem. The first Mayhem was slated to take place on November 5.
NOVEMBER MONTHLY MAYHEM, NOVEMBER 9 2000
The first Monthly Mayhem was sure to bring about more surprises for BCW. The first match at Monthly Mayhem was a rematch from Last Resort. Blonde Ambition defended his Cruiserweight Title against Kash Stax. There was a little surprise for Blonde Ambition, though, as Commissioner Keener named himself the special referee because he had fired the old referee. The return match between Ambition and Stax was more brutal than the first. Just as Blonde Ambition was going to give Stax the Stupifier, Commissioner Keener came in and speared Ambition. He then delivered The Commissioner Crusifixion to Blonde Ambition and laid Kash Stax over Ambition. Keener then counted the pin to make Kash Stax the new BCW Cruiserweight Champion. The next match at Monthly Mayhem was a special encounter between B. Atch and Hardkore Eaton. It was a H.A.G.S (Hide And Go Seek) match for the World lltle. The way to win this match was to find the World lltle and bring it back to the ring. B. Atch made his entrance to Country Grammar by Nelly and impersonated Blonde Ambition's first entrance in BCW. B. Atch dubbed himself The Blonde B. Atch for the night. B. Atch and Hardkore brawled all throughout BCW Arena. B. Atch
then lured Hardkore up to his house and had a special surprise for him. Atch let Hardkore go into his house, and Bastard and Kash Stax were waiting there to ambush him. B. Atch was going to stay there, but Bastard reminded him about the match. B. Atch went to find the title while Bastard and Stax beat up Hardkore. While Stax kept Hardkore at baby, Bastard went to hunt for Atch. What Bastard found was that Atch had gotten a little side tracked. Atch was sitting in the ring on a lawn chair drinking a Wild Cherry Pepsi when Bastard found him. Bastard reminded Atch about the match and said that he would help him find it. Just as they were about to go find the title, Hardkore came flying out of the woods, with Kash Stax hot on his trail. Hardkore rushed the ring and Bastard and B. Atch gave Hardkore a High Times chokeslam. Kash Stax then proceeded to beat down Hardkore while Bastard and Atch hunted for the title. Atch then pulled a title out of a house gutter and started celebrating, for he thought that he won the match. Bastard then looked at it, and was surprised to tell Atch that it wasn't the World title, but the old Hardkore title. Bastard then coaxed Atch to keep hunting for the World title. Bastard and Atch hunted all over the place, and when it was all said and done, Atch and Bastard had
collected not only the old Hardkore title, but also the old Streetfight title, the World title, and a toy pony. The World title was the last belt that Atch collected, and he found it hanging in The Bubble Bath. When Bastard and Atch went back to the ring, Kash Stax was still taking it to Hardkore. Atch and Bastard then joined in on the fun. Atch then proclaimed that he was the Triad Champ,
because he had all 3 of the old titles. When Hardkore retaliated by kicking Atch's pony, Atch went nuts. After the fun of kicking the crap out of Hardkore was over, Atch and Bastard left together. The final match of the first Monthly
Mayhem was Bastard defending the Hardkore Heavyweight title against Almost Amish. Bastard came out and had a little surprise. He said that he had "certain papers signedll, and that he had The Arabian Gangster deported, so that we would never have to worry about him again. After dropping the bomb, Bastard proceeded to beat the hell out of Almost Amish. Bastard had Amish pinned
many times, but since the old referee was fired, no one could count the pin. As Bastard was about to Bastardbomb Amish for the third time, Stonecold Steve Austin's music hit, and none other than Stonecold Atch Austin came out,
complete with cooler in hand, referee shirt on, and sporting the Stonecold strut. Atch entered the ring, flicked Amish off, gave him a Stonecold Stunner, and then counted the pin for Bastard. After the match, Atch and Bastard opened the cooler to reveal that it was full of Wild Cherry Pepsi. Bastard and Atch then celebrated the win Stonecold style, in a scene that will not soon be forgotten, as they chugged Wild Cherry's and Atch did his chicken strut.
After Monthly Mayhem, all signs pointed to Deep Freeze. Fans wondered if Blonde Ambition would get his Cruiserweight title back, and if he would get revenge on Commissioner Keener. And, the big question was whether or not anyone could stop Bastard's Hardkore title reign. Also, after Monthly Mayhem, the BCW Year End Award Polls opened up on BCWArena.com.
But, on the way to Deep Freeze, a tragic thing happened. While in New York City on a day trip to try to start up his hot dog business, B.Atch was hit while crossing the road with his hot dog cart. The vehicle that hit Atch was none other than Bastard's Bronco. When B.Atch tried to check into a hospital, he was denied because of his hideous face. B. Atch swore revenge on Bastard, and he said he would get it one way or another at Deep Freeze.
DEEP FREEZE, DECEMBER 29 AND 31 2000
Deep Freeze certainly lived up to its name, as the temperatures were at or below freezing on both days. The first match of Deep Freeze pitted Blonde Ambition against Commissioner Keener in a match to end their bitter feud, which began way back at One More Road To Cross in August. This match was back and forth the whole time, but in the end The Commish proved that he could talk the talk and walk the walk after putting Ambition away with a Commissioner Crusifixion through a box. After this match, B. Atch crashed the scene, this time on crutches. Atch wasn't just B. Atch on this night thought. Atch came out to Goldberg's music, and declared himself Atchberg for the night. Atch then said that he was "5-0, the streak has begun", which is totally bogus, as Atch didn't even win 5 matches in his whole BCW career to that point. Atch then called out Bastard. Atch said that he wanted some answers as to why Bastard had hit him while Atch was in New York. Bastard denied that he did it, naming all of the other BCW Superstars as culprits. Atch said that Bastard did it because he was afraid that Atch would beat him for The Hardkore Title. Bastard again denied it, and as it looked like Atch was going to believe him, Atch nailed Bastard in the stomach with his crutch and gave him a Stunner. After this, Blonde Ambition came back to the ring and demanded a Cruiserweight title shot against Kash
Stax. Kash Stax's music played, but he never showed up. Commissioner Keener then came out, carrying the Cruiserweight title. Keener said that Kash Stax hadn't shown up for Deep Freeze, and The Commish fined him $75,000 on the spot. The Commish then said that since he was in a giving mood, he was going to give the Cruiserweight title to Blonde Ambition. Blonde Ambition was stunned, but took the title and became a 2 time BCW Cruiserweight Champ. After this, Atchberg came out again. Atch was slated to face Amish in a Bubble Bath brawl for the Triad title, but Amish couldn't make it because he was snowed in. Atch then said that he had a thirst for violence, and challenged anyone in the back to a Bubble Bath Brawl for the Triad title. To win the Bubble Bath Brawl, Atch had to throw his opponent into the Bubble Bath first. None other than Harry Sak answered the challenge. Sak was under BCW contract, but had been missing since he was signed back in June. Atch was stunned, and asked Sak if it was really him. With no reply, Atch and Sak played more of a game of hide and seek than a wrestling match. When the two of them finally did make it to the Bubble Bath, Sak ripped off his mask to reveal that it was Bastard underneath the mask. Bastard then took it to Atch, and went back to the ring. When Atch finally stumbled back to the ring, Bastard laughed at Atch. Bastard said that he dressed up as Sak to teach Atch a lesson, and that lesson was not to mess with Bastard. Bastard then gave the titles back to Atch, as he said he didn't need them, and Atch and Bastard were friends again. When Bastard left, Atch stayed in the ring and showed off his Triad titles. Commissioner Keener's music then hit, and Keener came to the ring, gave Atchberg 2 Commissioner Crusifixions, and pinned Atchberg to become the new BCW Triad Champion. The main event for Deep Freeze was scheduled to be Bastard defending the Hardkore Heavyweight Title against Hardkore Eaton. Bastard came out and awaited the arrival of Eaton. Eaton never came though, and Bastard looked mad. Blonde Ambition then stunned Bastard by coming out and demanding a title shot. Bastard wanted to know what happened to Hardkore Eaton, and Ambition told Bastard that he had delayed Hardkore's flight so he could get the Hardkore title shot. Ambition then said that he deserved it more anyway, since he helped Hardkore win the No.1 Contendership at Last Resort. Bastard then accepted the challenge, and Blonde Ambition and Bastard put on a match like only they can . After a brutal 30+ minute match, Blonde Ambition stunned the world by Stupefying Bastard and winning the Hardkore Heavyweight Title and ending the 6-month reign of Bastard. As Ambition was celebrating Bastard grabbed the mic and demanded a rematch for A-title. Ambition accepted, and Bastard proceeded to Bastardbomb Ambition and seemingly win back his Hardkore title. Blonde Ambition had other plans. Because Bastard didn't specify what title the rematch was for, Ambition handed Bastard the Cruiserweight title. Blonde Ambition then proclaimed Deep Freeze the PPV of Ambition, as a dejected Bastard left.
The second part of Deep Freeze took place on New Year's Eve. B. Atch didn't make it to Part 2, though, as he was in hiding because he was afraid of the real millenium, which would begin in 2001. Hardkore Eaton and Almost Amish were there, however. Conspicuous by his absence was new Hardkore Heavyweight Champ Blonde Ambition, who was at a New Year's party .In the first match of Part 2, Hardkore Eaton challenged a dejected Bastard for his newly won Cruiserweight title. Hardkore Eaton won after delivering a Last Bite to the former Kingpin of Hardkore, and walked away with the Cruiserweight title. Bastard really didn't seem to care, as he still seemed pre-occupied with Blonde Ambition and the Hardkore title. Before Bastard could leave however, Almost Amish came out and challenged him to a Name Change Match. This meant that the loser would have to change his name. In Amish's only offensive maneuver , he nailed Bastard in the head with a pan and suprisingly pinned him. Amish then suggested that Bastard use the name Jeb, which is Amish's son's name. Bastard then exited the arena, stunned and even more dejected. Commissioner Keener then took on Hardkore Eaton in a special Snow Brawl. The Commish and Eaton went allover BCW Arena and had a brutal and stiff match. Eaton hit The Last Bite but the Commish retaliated later in the match by giving Eaton the Commissioner Crusifixion to pick up the win. The Commissioner then ordered Eaton to fight him and the wrestler formerly known as Bastard in a special Triple Threat Table match for the Triad title. The Triple Threat Table match had many brutal spots, but the most brutal was when The Commish put Hardkore through a table with a Commissioner Crusifixion and to get the win. Overall at Deep Freeze, the Commissioner went an impressive 4-0.
After Deep Freeze, Hardkore Eaton tried to disguise himself as B. Atch and do B. Atch's Bubble Bath, with the wrestler formerly known as Bastard as the host. Hardkore Eaton continuingly put down "Spick Like Me" and B. Atch, and always talked good things about Hardkore Eaton, even though he used many of B. Atch's catchphrases. Hardkore then ripped off the mask to reveal himself under the mask, but got no reaction.
In January 2001, the superstars of BCW took some much-deserved time off. Commissioner Keener made it known to Kash Stax that if he didn't show up for the next PPV, Outbreak, he would be fired and released from BCW immediately. Fans also wondered if The Arabian Gangster would return from The Arab Nation to accept his BCW Year End Awards at Outbreak. Also, fans wondered what had happened to the Cruiserweight Division, as it had been very strong before Deep Freeze, but now Hardkore was the champ, not even a cruiserweight. The big news however, was who Bastard would become now that he couldn't use the name Bastard anymore. All signs pointed to a return of HSM, possibly at Outbreak.
