Adventus recognized as service provider to NRC-IRAP Ontario clients
Adventus Research has become an approved market research and technology due diligence service supplier to clients of the National Research Council’s Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP) in Ontario. Adventus has already successfully completed several assignments for IRAP clients.

Gary Svoboda joins Ontario Chapter of Manning Innovation Awards
Gary Svoboda has recently joined the Board of Advisors of the Ontario Chapter of the Ernest C. Manning Awards Foundation.
The Ernest C. Manning Awards Foundation has been recognizing and encouraging innovation in Canada since 1982. By means of a nomination, Canadian resident citizens who have demonstrated recent innovative talent in developing and successfully marketing a new concept, process or procedure, may be eligible for one of these awards: Principal Award ($100,000), Award of Distinction ($25,000), Innovation Awards (2 at $10,000).
The Ontario chapter’s mandate is to foster interest in the recognition of innovation in Ontario through participation in the Manning Innovation Awards process. Nominations for the 2008 Manning Awards closed as of Dec 1, 2007.

Adventus joins ViaTech Waterloo Region and ViaTech Guelph
ViaTech is a Southwestern Ontario network of professionals who work in the hi-tech industry (IT, biotech/life sciences, advanced manufacturing), dedicated to helping technology companies grow. ViaTech chapters provide free advisory sessions for companies facing issues/challenges with a need to address them quickly. ViaTech teams consist of experienced technology experts focused on the issues and challenges hi-tech companies face: legal, marketing, banking, external financing, government programs etc.
Prior to each session, participants are asked to complete a short questionnaire, providing a brief overview of the participant company as well as its issues/challenges. Each session is held over a 70-80 minute period.

Adventus Research joins the Guelph Partnership for Innovation (GPI)
GPI is a consortium of life science stakeholders with the vision of making Guelph one of the top five life science centres in North America. Our mandate is to coordinate information sharing among life science and agri-food companies in Guelph and area while fostering the development of Guelph as a leading centre for life science and agri-food research, development and commercialization through advocacy, education and communication.
