First and foremost, whilst the list may be headed by myself I can't (and won't) take credit for it solely .... it's also run by five wonderful friends of mine, who take the time to talk to me, almost daily, about what we're going to do at each convention, how we're going to try to increase the amount of money we raise for the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, what kinds of merchandise will be best for List members, how we can go about making each year a bigger and better adventure for the GateGoers..

Their contributions to the Mailing List, their consideration for the events and the personal enjoyment/safety of each GateGoer member, and their attention to the minutest detail ensures that little things don't fall through the cracks.  They are the ones that really MAKES this list the success that it is.  

Without these wonderful women - my friends - this list, this fandom, and this convention just wouldn't be the same for me.  I owe them all, individually, my love and gratitude and, most importantly, my respect for their commitment to me and to GateGoers.

This year, we had two wonderful women also assisting us with our ideas etc.  Becks and Mumsey were privy to almost every 'List Mom' conversation going and really helped to get the 'shite' together.

Ryk - for the Observatory Tour

 
Thanks also get extended to Ryk, who went through with his planned activity of the Observatory Tour.  The event was a great success, loads of laughs and very informative.  When the guide pulled out a very 'Jack-esque' version of the night sky (plexi-glass and pinholes) it just topped the night beautifully.  Though I will always question Ryk's taste in cola.. Vanilla Coke??  Crikies, my man!!!

Dara - for the GateGoers video of the GateCon Charity Auction. 

Dara made such a great job of the video last year of the Gatecon Charity Auction that when we were setting it up this year, I asked if she'd do it again for me.. us...  QS and I are on stage and miss a lot of the action as we're organising as we go along, so the opportunity to see the action, watch the antics and laugh along with whatever goofy thing the guest was doing is priceless to us.  Thanks to Dara for giving us that gift...

Chance - for the GateGoer badges (and an array of others too!) 

Part of being a GateGoer is meeting up with people from around the world that you've spoken to all year.  But how do you know them when you've never seen them before? That's where Chance comes into it.  She makes the badges that tells the world who we are.. Bless her for doing that.  It's a little' 'extra' that I really appreciate from her and helps make the whole con experience even more fluid and easy on the GateGoers.
