Well, this was the highlight of my con!!!! I was asked at the last minute to participate on stage with the guests, helping to keep things moving along. When Richard asked me this, a mere few hours before the event, my first thought was (I distinctly remember) "Can I eat first though?" LOL.. seriously.!! After a day of running around, being on my feet, all I wanted was food. Oh, and perhaps some sleep, but food was way up there first. QS and I didn't get much time to eat after the Panels were finished so we whisked back to our hotel room, showered off the grime and grit from the day, discussed how sweet Alexis Cruz was backstage when I stepped on the poor love's foot!, and then we hastily threw make up on, and then I realised I simply had NOTHING to wear, considering I really wasn't expecting to be on stage.

Figuring no one would notice me considering the company I was to be in I quickly dressed then we trundled down to the room again. By now the Costume Party was in full swing and I was quickly discovering just HOW MANY items the auction had (OHMYGOD! I think was my initial response)

With the help of some VERY FANTASTIC volunteers, QS and I managed to get the stage set up and some semblance of order before the first Guest arrived to participate. Many Thanks to Richard for his last minute advice and to Allan for just 'being there' like he always was during the Con.

Many Thanks to, to the wonderful Gategoers who volunteered piccys to me - without you guys I wouldn't have had a memory of this event - so THANKS :)
