You couldn't see the way I literally BOUNCED around my home when the email popped into my In Box that fateful night a week or so ago..

The Tragically Hip were Touring Canada!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After hounding these poor guys for over four years regarding their tour dates, they are FINALLY playing in a town near me.. or a town that I'll be IN when they tour.. 

The Tragically Hip are playing Vancouver on the 19th and 20th of September and a small group of us are already booked into the 19th September concert. 

If you're interested in booking yourself in, go to the Ticketmaster website and make your booking.  

We're going to get together prior to the event, have a drink at a local bar and then go on masse to the theatre.  Once the concert is over we'll get together again to have a few more drinks.. (what..?? LOL) and talk about how FLIPPING FANTASTIC the concert was. 

If you're not sure who the Hip are (where HAVE you been, my friend??? ) go to the Official Website and take a listen at their next CD.  

Meet at Beatty's Bar at 7 pm
Leave for the Queen Elizabeth Theatre approx 8:15 pm
Doors open at 8:30 
Concert starts at 9:30 

Entrance to theatre: Corner of Hamilton Street & Georgia Street (on Hamilton)
