| La tan esperada tercera temporada de Charmed empezó el 5 de octubre del 2000. Empezó con noticias que seguramente agradaron a todos los fanáticos: la posibilidad de que Piper y Leo se casen... aunque no todo resulta como los fanáticos quieren, ¿verdad? A continuación, las sinopsis de los episodios de esta temporada.

Cuando ellas presencia uno de estos asesinatos, son llamadas a atestiguar, y en el juicio, deciden mentir para ocultar sus identidades, lo que libera al acusado. El fiscal del distrito, Cole Turner, es atacado por el asesino, pero Prue y Phoebe, alertadas por una premonición, logran salvarlo; en la batalla, Phoebe descubre su nuevo poder de levitación. Más adelante, Piper regresa y las tres hermanas se dirigen al juzgado, donde Piper hace crecer su poder congelando sólo a los inocentes, que no eran muchos. Tras una batalla campal, las hermanas se encuentran con que el demonio asignador de guardianes ya había desaparecido. Finalmente, Leo le pide a Piper que se case con él en secreto, y Piper acepta. (Phoebe a Piper, hablando en el P3) Episodio 46: La Hora Mágica  Título original: "Magic Hour" Fecha de emisión: 12 de octubre de 2000 Anuncio publicitario Piper planea secretamente su boda, de manera que el Consejo no se entere y no se lo impida; mientras, las otras hermanas ayudan a una pareja que sufre una maldición impuesta por un hechicero, que ocasiona que la pareja no pueda mantener contacto, pues ella, Brooke, se transforma en lobo durante el día, y él en búho durante la noche. Tras eliminar al hechicero, Phoebe se da cuenta que ese día era el apropiado para la boda, pues había un eclipse que evitaría al Consejo poder observarlas. Así, empiezan a realizar la ceremonia, con la abuela dirigiéndola, pero al parecer, Cole, el nuevo interés de Phoebe, informó a la Triada, y ésta a los Poderes que Son, que deciden llevarse a Leo antes de que la ceremonia sea completada. Memorabilia: Las conversaciones sobre la "rutabaga". Episodio 47: Había una vez...  Título original: "Once upon a time..." Fecha de emisión: 19 de octubre de 2000 Piper queda con el corazón roto y un gran resentimiento hacia los Poderes que Son; Phoebe se interesa por una pequeña que protege a una princesa hada. Con la ayuda de un poco de polvo de hadas, Prue y Phoebe son capaces de ver al hada y los trolls que la persiguen, atacando a ella y a la niña en los espacios intermedios. Piper finalmente accede a ayudarlas, pero los trolls habían convertido ya a la niña en hada, y estaban dispuestos a matarla a ella y a la princesa. Con la ayuda de un hechizo que les permite ver a las hadas y a los trolls, las hermanas siguen a un amiguito iluminado hasta la cueva de los trolls, donde son vencidos con un poco de vuelo de Phoebe, lanzamientos de Prue y congelamientos de Piper. Al final, Piper convence a la niña de volver con su familiar, pues pretendía quedarse como hada. Aunque aún molesta, Piper se da cuenta de que su enfado puso en peligro la vida de una niña; los Poderes que Son quedan impresionados por el coraje de Piper, y dejan que Leo vuelva para que les demuestren que su amor no se interpondrá con la misión de cada uno. Además, Cole se muestra como un enigmático ser tras el Libro de las Sombras. Memorabilia: Prue y Phoebe, cantando rimas infantiles en el P3, ante vista y paciencia de toda la gente. Episodio 48: La víspera de todas las Halliwell  Título original: "All Halliwell´s Eve" Fecha de emisión: 19 de octubre de 2000 Es la noche de Halloween, y las Encantadas no saben que un par de grimlocks han vuelto para vengarse. Justo en el momento en que ellos atacan, las hermanas son absorbidas por un portal del tiempo, y llevadas hasta Virginia en plena cacería de brujas. Sin que ellas lo sepan, Cole viajó en el tiempo también para hacer un trato con una malvada hechicera que había capturado a Charlotte, una mujer embarazada cuya hija tendría poderes que durarían eras. Una pequeña cofradía de brujas buenas hace un hechizo para traer a las Encantadas a que las ayuden a salvar a Charlotte y su hija, pero, como siempre que viajan al pasado, las hermanas no tienen poderes, por lo que se ven forzadas a confiar en la sabiduría wicca. Con la ayuda de un desconocido que sacrifica su vida por las de las hermanas, ellas finalmente pueden salvar a Charlotte y protegerla de los villanos con un escudo invisible alrededor de un altar. Tan pronto como nace el bebé, la pelea termina. Mientras las Encantadas se preparan para ser devueltas a su tiempo, se enteran que la bebé es Melinda Warren. Al regresar, las hermanas pelean contra los que las esperaban de vuelta, y luego celebran en el P3 su noche de brujas. Memorabilia: Las caras de Phoebe y Piper al reconocer a los grimlocks. Episodio 49: Vista no vista Título original: "Sight unseen" Fecha de emisión: 2 de noviembre de 2000 Anuncio publicitario After the manor is burglarized, Prue becomes obsessed with learning more about the Triads plans to destroy her and her sisters. What The Charmed Ones don't know is that their predator is Cole. Unimpressed with Cole's ability to get the Charmed Ones, the Triad sends in an aggressive demon to speed up the attack. This new demon is invisible and begins terrorizing the Halliwell sisters with random attacks. The attacks inspire Prue to get tough and she creates a trap for the demon in the attic. As the tension mounts, suspicion grows and Phoebe actually wonders if Cole could be bad guy material. Meanwhile, Cole appears to be trying to save the Charmed Ones by setting traps for his new rival. Could he be competing for the Triads approval or is it possible he's protecting the Charmed Ones? Prue successfully captures the invisible demon and creates a way to torture him for more information. Just as he tells them the name of the demon that the Triad has after them, he's whisked away. Assuming all is safe, the sisters resume their lives until Prue is vacuously attacked in the darkroom. It turns out Prue's suspicions were about more than immortal bad guys, some of the bizarre attacks had been Piper's new bartender. Episodio 50: Camino primoroso Título original: "Primrose Path" Fecha de emisión: 9 de noviembre de 2000 When Prue tries to help a man struggling with unbearable pain, her spell deviously backfires. Turns out the man was far from innocent, he was a demon who had been cursed to feel all the pain and suffering emotions in the world. Prue was tricked, and ended up with the cacophony of human emotions driving her insane and nearly unconscious. Piper and Phoebe figure out their sisters predicament with Leo's help and plot to reverse Prue's condition back onto the demon. Meanwhile, the now free demon has realized that his curse could be banished forever if it dies with Prue and begins a search for the Charmed Ones. When the demon arrives at the Halliwell home, Piper and Phoebe's plan of attack fails, leaving Prue vulnerably close to death from her suffering. Leo comes to Prue, now huddled in a ball with her head in her hands, and coaches her to face the cries of pain and suffering she hears. Prue rallies her mental prowess and accepting the suffering of all those in her head, regains her sanity long enough to face the demon-man in a kickboxing style battle of the minds that sends all the pain back where it belonged. Unable to cope with the effect, the demon-man implodes within his own inability to feel for others while the Halliwell sisters rejoice at their good fortune. Memorabilia: Episodio 51: Falla de poder Título original: "Power Outage" Fecha de emisión: 16 de noviembre de 2000 As Phoebe begins to spend intimate time with her new boyfriend, unknowing sleeping with the enemy, Cole has a new scheme to destroy the Charmed Ones. He enlists the help of a hate-demon to destroy the bond between the Halliwell sisters leaving them powerless. The plan initially works, and as Prue, Piper and Phoebe have horrible arguments that escalate into full blown supernatural fights, their powers vanish. Confused, Piper and Prue are able to rally long enough to solicit Leo's help to figure out what happened. He enlightens them to the power of their bond, and they make up, but Phoebe has run off to Cole's for sympathy. When she arrives at his apartment he turns into a demon and pulls a sacred dagger out prepared to take Phoebe's defenseless life right their while she snuggled in his arms, but, he can't do it. Worse yet, after sending Phoebe back to her sisters to make up and regain her powers, Cole is busted by the Triad for his softhearted failure. He is whisked to the Triad meeting place and just as he is about to be destroyed, he uses the dagger he still held in his hands to attack and kill all three Triad leaders. The Halliwell sisters apologize and reunite while Phoebe wonders what's up with Cole and why he seems to have faded away. Memorabilia: Episodio 52: Durmiendo con el enemigo Título original: "Sleithing with the enemy" Fecha de emisión: 14 de diciembre de 2000 The Charmed Ones learn what we've known all along — Cole is no saint. Phoebe has a growing suspicion about Cole's true identity and that secret he's been keeping when she finds him injured in his apartment. She begs Leo for help and when he tries to heal Cole he realizes something's amiss. Phoebe knows the truth but can't bring herself to vanquish the man she's fallen in love with (we also find out he's half-human). Good and evil join forces when Prue and Piper head out to find Balthazar, vanquishing potion in hand, along with a otherworldly bounty hunter sent to kill the demon who destroyed the Triad. When everyone figures out just who this demon is in human form, they all converge on Cole's apartment... but Cole/Balthazar grabs Phoebe and "shimmers" away. The bounty hunter finds them in a mausoleum and tries to kill Phoebe for getting in the way but Cole saves her life by killing him. Just before Piper and Prue arrive Phoebe decides to spare Cole by telling the world she vanquished him. She was a geek in high school and 10 years later is facing the reunion. Desperate to show how she's changed, Piper frets over not being able reveal the coolest things about herself -you know, the whole "I'm a powerful witch and in love with a Whitelighter" thing. Guess she'll have to settle for owning P3, site of the reunion debacle. Just as the nasty homecoming queen is undermining Piper's confidence once again after all these years, the insecure witch is possessed by a she-demon with a very outgoing personality (who knew Piper was into dancing on bars?). While Prue and Leo try to figure out what the heck is going on, Phoebe struggles with her decision to save Cole and lie to her sisters. She discovers some very interesting info about the half-demon's past but is called away from her fact-finding mission to help Prue kick that squatter-demon out of Piper. Little do they know that the vanquishing could involve a heartbreaking solution. Memorabilia: |
