Sensations

Burning lips -
Breath fast and irregular
And my heart thumping madly

in my breast
A strange feeling of unrest
Compelling me to seek refuge
Somewhere
Away from all others.
An insatiable thirst rising in me -
My face flushed -
tongue tied in knots...
Strange sensations
Intensely warm
Glowing all over my body
Causing stress...
And coolness accompanying
a soft warm caress...
Really,
Coming in from the sun
in mid-June
is a messy business.
