Mario, Pirate, and Foxy

I lost these three boys in January 2002. I was very saddened by my loss. I have decided to leave these pictures up as a memorial to my sweet boys.

Mario

Pirate

Foxy

As you can see, Mario is a pied Golden Agouti. He's a sweet fellow with a penchant for jumping up and hitting the cage top whenever he wants attention. He is definitely the boldest of this trio, but he gets along with them just fine. Mario is the only Golden Agouti I have right now. Although his markings aren't quite as striking as his brother's they are quite interesting. I like that blaze down his nose that zig zags. :)

Pirate is either an Apricot or a RESN. I am not certain which. He and Foxy were littermates, and their other borther and sister are the same color as Pirate. Considering the recessives involved, I had hardly expected to get one, much less THREE of this beautiful color. Pirate is a lot less shy now. He used to run hide every time i took the top off his cage, but now he'll even let me pet him, and take treats from my hand. he's still not keen on being picked up, but that's okay.

Foxy is a Red Fox. Well, he may be a Light Red Fox. I'm not certain, as he's the only one I have with his coloring. He's a beautiful red-gold color, that I'm afraid my picture just doesn't do justice to. I could go on and on about my little boys (well, not so little since they were all born in January) but I'll show the pics of them instead. :)

I like finally having some pics to show of my little clan. Want to see more? The links are below.
