The Surami Orphanage is located in the less populated interior of Georgia. It houses about 160 boys and girls from ages four to 14.The children
bubble with life and are eager to play games with visitors. Shoes are in extremely short supply at this orphanage. To lengthen
the life of shoes, the children often cut holes in the toes so their feet can
have room to stick out. The children also need any warm clothes and bed items.
