This tour begins at 7:00 AM, making it possible for tourists
to have breakfast at 6 AM at one of the local restaurants
first. We drive to the area near the volcano where we begin
our hike.
Your guide will give you a talk about the history of Arenál,
recent volcanic activity, and general information pertaining
to lava flow.
By day, huge smoldering rocks can be seen tumbling down the
mountain side.
As the hike continues, you will have opportunities to study
the tropical foliage and to observe the birds and animals
